Blake looked around the table at everyone, though they had their plates filled with food it didn’t look like anyone was touching it right now. “ Sam..” she said, giving her a look that hinted at slight disapproval at what was being said. Yet, Blake had never been one for very much confrontation, and she surely didn’t like people talking about her sex life at the dinner table. Her blood rushed to her face and ears in the same manner which it had in highschool when she felt like she was being bullied. She wasn’t being bullied in this sense, she knew these were her friends. But she still felt like she was on display. And the only display she liked being put on was when she was doing a performance. Blake cleared her throat before looking around at everyone. ‘ I for one think a group vacation would be a lot of fun. But for now, we have tonight. Maybe we should just have a party tonight,” she said, hoping to change the topic of conversation.

“ You mean like smoke some pot?!” Kat had suggested loudly when Blake mentioned that they have a party. Claire reached down, patting Shane’s knee as she knew that comment would get his attention. It must’ve been a hard day for Shane, she’d tried to distract him from the fireworks, now Kat was talking about getting a smoke on. She looked over her shoulder and smiled at him. What the heck, they didn’t get away from Brayden often and Shane was nothing if not a responsible adult now. Growing up didn’t mean you had to put on a suit and tie, and Shane had somehow managed to be both and adult and a kid at heart. He could make whatever choices he wanted to. “ Alright, but only if Mackenzie is in,” she said, looking over at the petite blonde. After all, it seemed like she had started a party all by herself.
