The plan had been to wait until next weekend. However, since nothing seemed to be going to plan with them, she decided she didn’t want to wait anymore. So, she packed up her things as quickly as she could, gathered up Paxton and set out to go back to what mattered the most in this whole ridiculous mess. She hadn’t planned on being in Dallas this weekend, but hadn’t she known since the moment he sang ‘What About Love’ on Taboo live where it would lead? She never stopped caring about him; she had even explained that in the last breakfast they’d had together. It just felt like too much, too much emotion, too much scandal, too much publicity. But he was still wondering what happened to the root of all of it ; the fact that they cared about one another. And quite frankly, he had a really damn good point in ‘putting up a strong front’. It only worked if they both of them wanted to be together; and it sounded like time apart from one another hadn’t changed that. She still really cared about him, he cared enough to put it into his music. She hadn’t wanted to bother him, finding out that he was out doing some promotional stuff. So instead she holed up in his hotel room.. having already asked his staff if they had searched and researched the room for any type of security camera. Most girls might opt for the romance… but as strange as it might be, Charlotte was just glad to be able to be in his arms again. She’d been near him, but she hadn’t been able to simply embrace him. So she had ordered a chicken alfredo pizza to be delivered. She had gone to a local target and bought his favorite movies and a dvd player to attach to the television. Now she was just waiting for him to come home – or to the hotel room, however you wanted to look at it. As she waited, Charlie nuzzled up in the pillows and blankets on Max’s bed. It took less time for Paxton to fall asleep at her feet, than it did for her.
