Logan smiled and reached out to take her glass, pouring more whiskey for her and slid it back. He hadn't anticipated her saying she wore that skirt for him, but since she had, he liked the sound of that. He was sure Scarlet did those things, did stuff to gain his attention. The thing was, she already had it. Blake just wanted him to notice her in general. It was nice; maybe she did really like him more than he realized. Maybe he liked her more than HE realized. Blake didn't respond to his question, which suggested here were more songs about him. He could smell the butter from where he sat, growing more hungry with anticipation. Did he want there to be more songs about him? Logan gave her a sly grin, sipping his whiskey long and slow as he watched him over his glass. Two could play this game. It was also the easiest and least confusing way to just confirm what they both probably already knew. Shit. This was a thing. They had started a thing. Did they just become a thing? This was trouble. But the whiskey was beginning to go to his head and he didn't actually care. He watched as she slid the sandwich out of the pan onto a plate, letting the question slip out before he had a moment to reassess it, "Final round. Winner takes all. You like games?" Logan took another sip and sat his glass down as she put the plate in front of him and sat down in the chair beside him, "Hypothetical situation. I'm not with Scarlet, your not with Chad." Logan leaned over, his hand gently brushing her leg as he tucked some hair behind her ear. He was inches away, looking her right in the eye, smirking, "What would you do, if I was this close?"

Blake lift her eyebrow slightly, doing her best not to smile as he sipped his whiskey in silence at her questioning whether or not he wanted more songs to be about him. Maybe it was the whiskey. Maybe it was the fact that they were two teenagers alone in the house. Or maybe it was the fact that after spending so much time in Logan's world, she was starting to build some confidence in herself. Finally getting a video out didn't hurt things. She was actually starting to feel like she could be somebody. Maybe even Logan's somebody. After sitting down, she pushed some of her curls unsuccessfully away from her face. Did she like games? Not generally. But suddenly his hand was on her leg and he was moving close. This seemed like a game she could get into. As he tucked the hair behind her ear, a slow grin formed. Her eyes moved from looking directly into his to lingering over his lips. They'd both just admitted that they were interested in each other. They were both with people. But did that mean that you were supposed to stop something that felt so....magnetic? Probably. Maybe it wasn't right for them to do this. But it felt even more wrong to stop it. Finally, she looked up back into his eyes, but only for a moment before she leaned toward him. Blake brought her hand up to the side of his neck, tracing her thumb over his jawline before pressing her lips against his, where she could still taste the whiskey. Her other hand gripped the front of his shirt, not realizing that she had formed a clumsy fist around the material while pulling him closer.

If this were a game to see who would crack first, then Logan would have won. Or did she, because he basically egged her on? No, he was definitely winning right now, if you get what I mean. It was a win/win for all parties he was pretty sure. He wouldn't have asked if he didn't want it. There was always just one slight little problem, because it was like eating potato chips. Once you started, you didn't stop. Can't have just one. Because the second he realized she was going to kiss him, he felt like he never wanted something so badly. He liked how badly it seemed she wanted it, too. And he liked when she was pulling at his shirt. He didn't have the kind of reputation he had for nothing. He may be a nice guy, but he never had much self control once he decided he needed something. Which was what this was. It was always one thing to want something, but when Logan felt he needed it, he'd get it. Even if he had to break some rules. And right now he needed to kiss her. He had to know what it was like. Months of tip toeing around each other, learning each others secrets and habits away from the general high school bullshit, doing this little dance they did where they pretended that whatever it was they were wasn't something out of the ordinary. Logan couldn't put a finger on it, but he knew they both felt it. Something special between them. And the more time he spent with her, the more like magnets they were becoming. And the more he kissed her, the harder he knew it would be to stop. But fuck it, right? He didn't want to anyways. Not when his hand was roaming over her legs, finding a spot to rest on her hip and it felt like the most natural thing, to pull her closer, wrapping his arm around her waist as his lips left hers just briefly to kiss her neck. Her hair smelled like the ocean when he breathed in. He wondered how far she was going to let him go. How far would he go if she didn't stop him? Where was this going to go? Logan's fingers grazed the hem of her shirt, pushing it upward to expose more of her skin. He was kissing her again, fighting with whatever sense he had to stop this before... before what? Before he got a boner and she realized she wasn't down to get down, at least not like that? Suddenly, in a moment where you realize just how much noise human machines and utilities made, it was incredibly quiet in the house, like someone had just flipped a switch. Logan stopped, separating his mouth from hers only to find the moon reflecting off her baby blues from the window. The kitchen was dark; not even the clock on the microwave was glowing. "Shit, the power just went out." He hadn't moved, hands still on her skin and in her hair, just frozen, watching her. Logan slowly stood up as his eyes adjusted, letting his hand gently caress her cheek before he headed o the front of the house to peak outside. "The whole neighborhood it out." Logan took a deep breath and then moved back to where she was still seated and came up behind her, placing his hands on her shoulders and leaned forward over her, placing his lips on her cheek and then added, "I feel like you're the candle type." He knew she couldn't see him smirking in the dark but she knew him well enough now to hear it in his voice.

Logan Renner was kissing her. With his mouth. On purpose. She would pinch herself to see if this was a dream, but his fingertips were finding they way across her skin and she was pretty damn sure that would wake her from any dream that she was having. No, this was real. And wrong. But right. She couldn't think straight, everything was coming in flustered fragments, with the only thing that she knew she wanted being more of his lips ,and hands, and body entirely. But as quickly as it was all coming together, it felt like it was coming to a full force crash to stop. The power was out? That was strange, because she never felt more electrified. She parted her lips slightly, trying to think of something to say as he kissed the side of her cheek, before making a reference to her being a candle person. She could point out that she had made her own candles, that they were a special blend of vanilla and lavender that she had been working on with her mom for the past couple of weeks, but now didn't seem like the appropriate time. Blake stood up from the chair, trying to quickly gather her senses as she moved past him in the kitchen to start trying to blindly look for things. Was this a stop sign moment? Was he giving her an opportunity to get out of the flame ridden car that they had just started driving before they somehow drove it right off a cliff? Because, she didn't think she wanted an out. Blake fumbled for a lighter, finally lighting a candle inside a mason jar before holding it carefully, looking back at Logan the best that she could see him. "What...... was that?" she said, giving a slight shake of her head. And can I have it again?Patience. One question at a time. But he knew all this time she liked him, and now all of the sudden he was being all seductive in her kitchen. Were he and Scarlet fighting? What was he trying to accomplish?

Logan leaned against the table as she stood up to probably look for candles and he took the opportunity to regroup. There were a lot of reasons they shouldn't get involved. One, he had a girlfriend. And it was worse because he'd gotten into a big fight with her and he wondered how much that was influencing things right now. Also, Blake had a boyfriend. Who was Logan's good friend. And also Logan was drunk and so was she and Logan knew he might want more than what she was comfortable giving. He had to remind himself to take sleeping with her off the table. Now, aside from all those things, he was really attracted to her and kissing her wasn't an accident or a one time thing. He was already wondering if they could do that again. But he wanted to see if they would take this time to change her mind; he WAS giving her an out. She asked him what on earth was that, and Logan honestly wasn't sure how to reply. "I... it just seemed like... in the moment..." he shrugged, smiling a little. Logan moved closer to her and placed his hands on her waist, the candle between them, "We don't have to..." he raised him eyebrows, "Maybe we just see where it goes." They were alone and they both knew it was probably really wrong but did they have to tell anyone? "Did you ever build like blanket forts when you were a kid? We used to, when they power was out." It was something to do, keep their hands busy while they both figured out where they wanted to let this go.
