She really had no chill when it came to how she felt about things, as the American kids would say. Chill, right? She went from suggesting that she found school more appealing, to complimenting his physique, and his face. David felt slightly guilty, had he contributed to this? he could have made more of an effort not to encourage her. She was just so easy to talk to, so open about things. He felt like he could just hang out and talk about his stuff too. He had to constantly remind himself that she was his student. But she wanted to know more about him, and she was dead set on it. David shook his head, flattered, but unsure they should continue like this. he liked that she was cultured; he too enjoyed a trip to Paris now and then, but even with that she managed to work in the fact that she was 18. Damn. He was really hoping she wasn't, it would deter him more so. Now he couldn't even get in trouble other than the teacher/student thing. And what happened after she graduated? That wasn't so far off. Wait, what was wrong with him? He couldn't seriously be thinking about that, he shouldn't be at all. David sighed, smiling, but trying to find a way to respond that wouldn't encourage her. "Ahh... Anabelle, you've put me in a really bad position here." He backtracked, shaking his head, but had she? or had he put himself in this position. "You know, I really could've done more to not let this... get to this point." he looked at her apologetically, finding himself looking around and quietly saying, "Though I will admit that first day of class I was disappointed to see you at a desk in my classroom, I'm still your teacher. I shouldn't... can't actually, encourage this. Even if we- this... makes sense." He felt really terrible even saying it, because he didn't want to disappoint her, but also because he didn't want it to be so. He wanted nothing more than to continue this the way it was going. "Look it has everything to do with the fact that I'm your teacher, I don't want to be a distraction." Which was true. He wanted her to succeed, not be distracted by him every day in class.
