- - - - - - - - - - Where would you find Ms. Shay Keahi when she has nothing to do, no school, not to mention ditched by her sisters at home? The mall. That's right, mall. Shay is a girl who has needs to shop til she can drop. You can love her the way she is or you don't. It's that simple. Shay is kind of girl that loves everything in her life, except bugs, cherish everything and lives like there's no tomorrow. Yeah she has some problems of her own that doesn't seem to share it with anyone but her journal or she puts what she's feeling in a song. Shay is talented and crazy and slightly off about world. Well not really off about world but she sees the world in a different way. She's basically slow when it comes to joke, she might be red headed but she doesn't have angry of any sort. She just laughs about it. When she does have angry, you just might want to beware of 90 lbs red headed girl. Consider yourself warned.
Shay has been shopping for couple of hours, there were stores that she hasn't been to like Pacsun, Aldo, Macy's, and some jewelry stores along with shoes. She loves clothes, especially to dress up. Give her some clothes with shoes, jewelries, and accessories and watch how she makes her outfit. Shay walked into Macy's looking for juniors' section for some clothes. When she found it she looked through some racks trying to find cute skirts that she'll like or for her sisters. Her sisters might not be there but she always shops for them when she's out shopping. She doesn't want her sisters to feel like Shay only did shopping for herself or get mad at her for spending so much money. Of course, Shay watches the price tags before she buys it. She's like that, she loves shopping but she'll look at the price tag before buying it. Shay loves her sisters that she'll do anything for them, even though they're step-sisters but she never felt like a step-sister to them. They treated her like she was one of a kind. Which she is.
Feeling and hearing her phone go off in her pocket, she got her phone out of her back pocket and saw that it was one of her sister. She smiled as she picked up, "Hey Hey! I bought really cute top for you. Oh! I'm going out for dinner so don't wait up on me." Jenny was at home deciding what to make for dinner just as Shay had told her that she was having dinner out. 'Okay. Have fun. See you when you get back. Ali and I will go out too.' Shay rolled her eyes since her sister couldn't see it. "Kay. Bye" She hung up and slid her phone back in her pocket and moved to another rack. She was still trying to find a cute skirt that'll go for her sister's top that she had bought from American Eagle. Shay sighed when she couldn't find what she was looking for. She was sad but not for long. She walked out of Macy's and stood at the entrance of Macy's deciding where she should go next. She hadn't had lunch so she decided to go eat a little.
With bags in one hand, she found herself at the food court as she decided what she'll have. Which Which or Sbarro Pizza? Shay thought for a minute before she walked to Sbarro and waited in line to order some food. She loves pizza, giving her pizza everyday she'll eat it and won't even get tired of eating it. She was in front of the line, ordered cheese pizza with large coke. She paid twenty dollars, getting five dollars and ten cents back. While she waited for her pizza, she filled her cup with little ice and coke. She placed the lid on and straw. Once her pizza was ready, she placed her cup on the tray and walked out of the store and found a table in the middle of the court. Placing the tray on the table then the bags in the chair next to hers, she pulled her chair out and sat down. She sipped on her coke first then picked up her hot cheese pizza and took a small bite and set it back down on the plate. Wiping her hands on her napkin, she took her phone out and went through texts and started replying to them as she was humming to a song she heard at Macy's.

Kiersten walked into the food court with her shopping bags, two from Badgley Mischka and one from True Religion. She looked around, trying to decide what she wanted to eat. After she'd decided on just getting a salad from one of the vendors she brought her bags and her tray back out to the tables, trying to find a place to sit. The tables were packed with people, families, friends, people shopping together. Kiersten didn't usually go shopping with out her sister Mackenzie, but Mackenzie was hung over and spending time with her boyfriend so she'd been out for the count. The mall here in New York was a lot different then the mall back in Malibu. In Malibu it had been clear that everyone was in the same tax bracket. But here, there were so many different people. Teens shopping at some store called Aeropostale, moms and their kids in strollers, old ladies rolling out of Neiman Marcus like they were VIP's, people who were clearly from out of the city, tourists, and then there were people like Kiersten, who really didn't normally shop in a mall but were too tired to go into the city so the mall was convenient being all in one place. She'd been pleased to find some stores that were up to her standards, because she could never have too many jeans and she had needed a gown to wear to some benefit gala her parents were dragging her and her sister to for Senator Harris' presidential campaign. She'd ended up with a gown, shoes, a new fall coat and two swim suits. She hadn't even bothered to look what it was costing her when the woman rang it up, looking at Kiersten's credit card like she thought it might void. As if she'd never seen a trust fund baby before. But there was more then enough on the card and the shopping trip had turned out to be successful so the nest thing on her list was to eat, because she was starving. The food court was packed, not one empty table to be seen so Kiersten began looking for someone who didn't look like they would mind if she sat with them. Kiersten spotted a girl with bright red hair who looked to be about the same age as Kiersten, so Kiersten walked over tentatively, holding her tray close to her and stopped at the girls table, "Do you mind if I share this table with you? There really aren't any other open ones..." she trailed off, looking around and still seeing no open seats in the place. Outfit

- - - - - - - - - - It wasn't rare for Shay to go shopping. When she's in the mood she'll go, when she isn't she won't go but if her sisters are going, she has no choice but to go. She won't shop though she'll help her sisters on what looks good and what not. Her sisters are bubbly like Shay but so not like her. Shay is kind of a person that's random, who'll do crazy stuff despite knowing what'll happen in the end. She doesn't care what people think of her at all because she knows who she is and she stays true to herself.
Shay kept on ignoring the phone calls from her sister as she was enjoying her day at the mall by herself. She did wish that her sisters were there since she didn't have company at all. Not that she minds. Shopping is her buddy like any dog is to any other people. Taking another bite of her pizza, she chewed it wisely then swallowed it as she crossed her legs under the table. Shay picked up her coke, taking a sip she heard someone talking to her. She almost choked on her drink, not expecting anyone to come. By looking at the food court, it was still pretty packed. She chuckled when the girl started to explain why and all. She seemed to be about Shay's age. "Sure. I promise I won't bite." Shay joked, hoping not to scare the girl away. She seemed sweet and friendly. "I'm Shay," Shay introduced herself to the girl with a smile on her face.

Kiersten smiled tentatively, setting her tray down in front of her and sat down, placing her bags beside her. "Thanks," she said, brushing her long hair over her shoulder, "I'm Kiersten." Too often Kiersten wondered how many people in public actually recognized her. Her dad owned the biggest real estate development company in the country, not to mention he owned a lot of real estate, including chain of hotels and numerous restaurants on the west and east coasts. Kiersten and her older sister were like the younger, fresher versions of Paris and Nicki Hilton. They were famous for simply being rich and who their daddy was. They lived in California their whole lives, went to private schools and then a private arts high school. They'd been in tabloids since they were old enough to shop at all the designers. They got invited to movie premieres and awards shows simply for being them selves and for looking impeccable on the red carpet. They lived a charmed life, right up until the day their sister died. The tabloids and news stations had had a field day. And from then on, Kiersten and big sister Mackenzie had actually tried to fly under the radar. She remembered the tabloids, 'Bannon sisters MIA, Death of Vanessa Bannon too much of a toll on these heiresses? Where in the world are America's favorite wealthy sisters?' The thought made her sick. Growing up, she hadn't really minded being in the public eye, but when the press acted like sharks feeding off of your family tragedy, it just soured the fame. Kiersten just wanted a normal life, with privacy. And it didn't help that Mackenzie was now famous for actually doing something. Her sister played Quinn Fabray on the hit TV series Glee, and was also dating Riley Collins, who was just as known for his trust fund as the Bannon's. Tabloids had eaten that up, calling it a billion dollar match made in mogul baby heaven. So while Mackenzie was eating it up, enjoying her fame in the spotlight, Kiersten just wanted to finish high school with as little mention in tabloids as possible, though she made in appearance at least once every week in some rag magazine. She knew this girl would probably recognize her, but Kiersten just wanted people to like her for her, not what was written in magazines.
"So..." Kiersten said, taking some salad on her fork, "You're not a tourist, I can see that. New York native?" Kiersten took a bite of her salad, chewing carefully, trying not to draw attention to herself in the food court. That really was the last thing she needed, people taking her picture or asking for her autograph. After all, she just met this girl, maybe she could be normal for at least an hour.

- - - - - - - - - - There was something about Kiersten that Shay knew but couldn't put her finger on it. She felt like she saw her somewhere before with another girl that she guessed was her sister. Shay watched as Kiersten sat down in the chair front of her and ate her salad. She took another bite of her pizza followed by a sip of her drink. "Nice to meet you." Shay looked at her then it hit her. The girl that was sitting in front of her was none other than Kiersten Bannon. Shay wanted to jump or show her excitement that she was sitting right in front of Kiersten, though resisted not to. Shay calmed her nerves down and told herself to get to know her for her but not for who she is.
Looking at the girl in front of her, Shay chuckled and nodded. Shay was born and raised in the heart of Manhattan along with her step-sisters. Her mom had re-married when she was just seven years old, after her father died when she was just few months old. Shay doesn't remember how her father was like, though she knows how much her step-father loves her. "That obvious?" She asked Kiersten. She took another sip of her drink then leaned back in her chair. "You? Hey do you go to Performing Arts?" Shay wondered if she is attending the same school as her.
