Ethan got out of the cab tiredly as he handed money up front to the driver. “ Thanks” he said, though his attention was brought to looking through the park. Nearly thirteen hours he had spent looking for this kid, trying to find him. He’d left a message on his page that simply read ‘gone’, and he knew that Stefan had tried calling him multiple times, Claire had, he could only assume that Natalia had as well. And he’d even called him a handful of times. He’d gone from upset to worried to mad, and everywhere in between. He considered himself to be really close with his group of friends, Stefan and Anthony he’d both met somehow through Claire, and of course Natalia as well. But he felt protective of each of them, so not only was he worried about Anthony when he wasn’t answering his phone, but it worried him to see everyone else upset and worried about it. But enough was enough. There’d been times before in their friendship with Anthony would just slip off the radar, and quite honestly with the way he drank it was a dangerous thin.
Ethan stopped as he saw Anthony sitting and scoffed as he shook his head. He’d thought it out all afternoon. He had his own place. He’d let Claire move in when she asked and he still had room. If Anthony was going to keep running away from something, he might as well have somewhere to run to. ”Hey,” he called out to him before he strode over to his direction. “ Central park, huh? I figured your hookin’ spot would be at the corner of some intersection,”. Ethan sighed quietly before he sat down by Anthony and turned to look at him. He was a damn good guy. Honestly, he had no idea how Anthony put up with his sister. She blew up on him for no reason on the cruise, and he had basically it seemed like just forgiven her, and they were back to being best buds again. “ I have this philosophy on life..” he said with a small nod as he looked out at the park. “ Blood isn’t what ties family together. I lucked out.. I’ve got two of the most amazing siblings a guy could ask for. But I don’t consider them my family because we have the same blood. They’re my family because of the choices they make, the way they support me, how I want to support them,”. Ethan puffed out his cheeks slightly, figurin he should probably wrap it up. “Anyways. You’re my family. And nine times out of ten I can kick your ass. So when I say to you... you’re coming home with me, and moving in.. I mean it” Ethan looked away from the park for the first time and looked back at Anthony. ”I don’t know what’s going on, and you don’t need to tell me. I’m not having you move in as a way of manipulation to get information out of you. You’re moving in because you are my family, and .. you’re struggling with something. I don’t know what it is, and it wouldn’t matter if I did. My home is your home, and it’s where you belong… Debating this would prove to be idiotic on your part,”.
