Joel lifted his hat off by the bill of it and scratched the side of his head quickly before he readjusted his hat and stepped out onto the roof. These kids were apparently serious about their bonfires. A rooftop bonfire? Seriously? Whatever, he didn’t put anything past the Renner’s lately. Besides, if Shane wanted a bonfire there wasn’t a chance they were going to deny him that when the party was ninety- percent for him anyways. ‘ Nothing Personal’ was being dropped this week, the next day actually Joel thought, but they were celebrating it’s release tonight, have a chance for all of the Taboo artists to celebrate in one place and celebrate the fact also that they had come out to New York. Natalia wasn’t officially a part of Taboo yet, but Joel had a feeling that it was just all a matter of time. She was a good fit, both musically and personality wise. At any rate, he’d invited her out, hoping that she would come so she could get to know everyone. And maybe also so he could spend a little bit more time with her. It was sort of the perfect time for everyone to celebrate. He knew that Shane was probably itching to get out on tour, and for all of the high school kiddies, school was just around the corner. Joel smiled at his sister, seeing her standing by Ryan and waved at both of them. Way to be covert, guys. He turned his ear towards the stereo to hear that they were already playing Shane’s music, at what sounded like as high as the volume could go. He knew he’d never, ever make music like All Time Low, but that didn’t mean he didn’t like listening to it. That was one of the things that he loved about Taboo Records. They all had such different sounds, but they all loved to support each other. You couldn’t fake some of the friendships they had. It sort of helped to have the same passion when you were all so different. He didn’t see Natalia here yet but that didn’t mean she wasn’t coming. Just incase he took his phone out and sent her a quick text. ‘ Hey, I hope I get to see you later tonight..’ he said, leave it open. Just because she didn’t come to the party, didn’t mean he couldn’t see her. Outfit

Kiersten had been working in the studio a lot lately, and he’d been working on the set of Wizards of Waverly Place with Dani a lot lately. He was featured more in this season than he had been last year so he felt like he was constantly at the studio. When he wasn’t there, he was at Logan’s studio to spend time with him. It was weird not living with Logan anywhere, having to schedule time to hang out with is brother. He was tired and didn’t want anything else but to be home at his and Joel’s place, but Shane was like his brother, too. If there was a party in his honor, Lance would be there in a heartbeat. And he was. Shane was the same way with all of them, supportive and caring. It was only fair to return the gesture . He lifted his drink to his lips and scanned the group for Kiersten. She was probably here. Logan probably would have had to pry her fingers from the switchboards at the studio, but she’d be here. Lance turned over his shoulder as he heard Riley call out to him. “Oh hey mate”he said, grinning as he headed over to him and Lily. “ Hey princess,” he said, setting his cup down. ‘ Have you seen Mack?’. Lance nodded and tilted his head over to Mackenzie who was talking with what looked like Samantha and some girl he’d seen a few days ago when he had stopped by the campus. “ Over there, I’ll take Lily for a bit,”. Lance smiled as he watched Riley kiss Lily’s hair and hug her before holding her over to Lance. Lance held her against his side and smiled at her. “ Want to go see Uncle Ryan?” he asked, seeing the recognition on Lily’s face, followed by the laughter as she buried her face into his chest. Lance carried her over to Ryan and grinned. “ Someone wanted to see you man,” he said, trying to turn Lily out so that she could see Ryan before he held her out to him. He laughed as he watched Lily stare at Ryan’s chest and slowly tilt her head up to look at his face before she giggled and puckered her lips out to wait for Ryan to lower his face so she could kiss his cheek and then laid into his chest. Alex ran his hand over his chest as he looked down at his All Time Low shirt and smiled back up at Shane. “I don’t understand why you don’t want my groupie lovin’ “ he said, mocking a hurt expression before he took a drink from his cup. “ Congratulations though man, album is sounding great so far from what I’ve heard in the studio and here so far tonight,”. He shook his hand through his hair, looking through everyone when his eyes stopped on Mackenzie and a girl she was talking to. It was pretty rare that there were people at these parties that you didn’t recognize. Even if they weren’t a part of Taboo records, they were usually famous for something . He narrowed his eyebrows as he looked at the girl wearing a mickey shirt and laughed. “ … Did you do have like a radio contest or something?” he questioned Shane, tilting his head to Mackenzie and the blonde girl talking to her. Alex turned his head back over his shoulder quickly to look for Felicia and Zoe. He hadn’t talked to them about whether or not they were coming tonight. All Time Low was Zoe’s favorite band, and Felicia had basically grown up with Shane,… so all signs pointed to them being there. Felicia was the most gorgeous girl he’d ever seen and he enjoyed the banter between them. A few times he thought he’d even seen her trying to hide a smile after snapping a sarcastic comment at him. She sure as hell made the chase fun, even if both of them pretended there wasn’t a chase going on at all. He choked on his drink as Zoe came up and wrapped her arm around his shoulder. ‘ Stealing your boy, Shane. was the only thing he heard before he felt Zoe tugging him away and started pulling him towards the direction of Felicia. Riley held Lily close against his chest as he rode the elevator up to the roof. He’d told Mackenzie to leave ahead of him since he needed to stop by the office and sign a few papers to get it out of the way since he had been avoiding going to the office lately. He still wasn’t sure what he wanted to do. He was going back to school when it started up. As though medical school wasn’t hard enough, running his fathers’ company was starting to take a toll on him. He could handle it, if that’s all that was on his plate. He was just trying to figure out how to fit everything onto his plate; Lily, school, the business. But at the same time there wasn’t a single thing he would do to change any of it. It would be nice to have some of his memories back, but he was starting to feel more and more close to Mackenzie. Sometimes just the simple things she did were just so beautiful. Just last night she had been laying in bed reading a magazine and some of her hair had fallen over her eyes. It had come to him naturally to just lean over and trace his fingers over it lightly and place it behind her ear. She seriously had no idea how beautiful she was to him. “ Hey Lance,” Riley said, readjusting the way Lily was against his side. He grinned at the exchange between Lily and Lance before he allowed Lance to take her. “ Thanks man,” he said, looking in the direction that he had indicated Mackenzie was. Riley turned back around to watch Lance carry Lily to Ryan and Madeline and smiled at Lily and Ryan. She had such a crush on him. While it was cute now, it wouldn’t be cute forever. Riley yawned tiredly before he turned on his heel and headed over to Mackenzie. He made a slight face as a blonde excused herself, giving a small nod to Riley and made her way over to Shane. “ Friend of yours?” Riley asked before he smiled at Mackenzie and leaned down, placing a quick kiss on her lips and holding his hand against her lower back. Riley straightened up and wrapped his arms around her in a hug before he smiled at Samantha. ” Taking care of my boyfriend?” he asked, wondering where Chad was. Outfit

Zoe ran her hand through her hair and shook it out. Felicia had convinced her to curl it. Not just curl it, but those ridiculous big wavy hot roller curls. She felt like she should be on a cosmo magazine with a stupid fan in her face. ‘ Never again’ she said with a threatening tone to Felicia. She picked up her water bottle and took a drink before she saw Alex and let a smile spread slowly across her lips. “… Be right back,”. She wasn’t sure if Alex and Felicia actually liked each other, but there was definitely an interest. Zoe set her water bottle down on the ground by the chair she was sitting in and stood up, moving away from the bonfire quickly. She made her way over to Shane and Alex and gave Shane a quick hug when Alex was looking over his shoulder. “ The album is seriously great,” she said, squeezing him tightly. Zoe kissed his cheek before she stepped back and wrapped her arm over Alex’s shoulder. “ Stealing your boy, Shane” she said winking at him before she tilted her head to Felicia and started pulling Alex with her. “Is that a girls shirt?” she asked Alex in confusion as she looked at the All Time Low shirt he was wearing. ‘…Probably,’ he said with a laugh. She rolled her eyes with a smile, knowing that he didn’t care one way or another if it was or not. ‘ Hey Felicia,” she said standing Alex in front of her. “Special delivery.”. Zoe dropped her arm from around Alex and dropped it to the side, letting the blood flow back since she had to prop it up at such an awkward height. She looked between the two of them and smiled before she picked up her water bottle. “ I have to go um…be anywhere else, but here” she said with a distinct nod and stepped over Felicia’s legs to make her way away from both of them. Blake bit the inside of her cheek as she looked at the bonfire that Logan and Ryan had set up on the rooftop. It seemed like nothing would stop these guys from throwing a party. But it didn’t really matter, as long as it made Shane happy that was all that mattered. Ever since she’d been able to spend some time with Logan and not focus on work she’d been in a lot better frame of mind, happier, back to herself. She felt less stressed after they’d talked about everything that was going on. And he had been right, of course. He always was. She had a tendency to be waiting for the other foot to drop and wait for the worst possible situation to unfold. But she wasn’t alone now, she had Logan to share all of her worries, and her happiness, with. She smiled as she waved at him, mouthing ‘Hi’. Blake turned to look for Shane, he was the guest of honor after all. As she made her way to him, she waved at Mackenzie, gesturing that she’d be over there in a second before she came up to Shane. “ Congrats, honey” she said, holding his cheeks and giving him a quick platonic kiss. Before there was the ‘family’ there had been the main core. Her, Mack, Shane and Logan. She loved everyone else just as much as she loved Shane, but there was a bond between the four of them that she thought could last through anything. She knew that he was going through a lot lately, but she’d heard through the grapevine that he had hung out a couple of times with some girl named Claire Fox. After some digging she found out from Joel that it was Natalia Richmond’s best friend. She made a few phone calls and finally got ahold of her and invited her out to the party tonight. Shane needed people in his life right now that wouldn’t question him about Kat. Even if they weren’t questioning him about Kat, Shane wasn’t an idiot. He could tell when they were thinking about it. “ Save me a seat by you at the bonfire later, okay?” she said, stepping back so everyone else could have their chance to greet him.She smiled again, winking at him before she turned and headed over to Riley and Mackenzie, watching as Claire walked away to Shane. Perfect timing. “Hey guys,” she said, sighing out of relief as she reached over and hugged Mackenzie. Outfit

Scarlet jumped out of the cab quickly and ran into the building, slamming the button for the elevator. She was late. She was always late. But Shane would have known to expect that from her by now. He’d known her since she was about seven after all. Her fathers event had gone on a lot longer than expected. Actually, it was still going on. Zach had been there but she had to leave before she could find him to say goodbye. This was an important night for Shane, she needed to be here. She could text him later to apologize for just leaving so quickly. When the doors opened she blinked, staring at the bonfire. She knew that it was a rooftop party but she didn’t know it was a bonfire. They seriously brought California with them, but she looked down at her dress. Designer dresses and smoke didn’t mix well. Whatever, she stepped off of the elevator and made her way over to him quickly. “ Shane!” she said happily, wrapping her long arms around him. ‘ I’m so so proud of you,” she said honestly, squeezing him as tight as she could. No matter how many cd’s he put out, she’d always be happy for him. She could remember the days when him and Ryan would seriously write songs over nothing, and everything. Playing inanimate objects like they were drums, and torturing the neighborhood parents with their garage bands. Now they were both so talented and successful, she couldn’t be happier for either of them. She smiled as Madeline handed him a drink and could smell it from where she was standing. Scarlet watched as a girl came towards Shane, and looked back at him smiling. “I’m going to go say hey to Ryan and Logan. Find me later,’ she said while waving at him. If Shane made new friends, that was great. He needed something new in his life. Him, Ryan and Logan were her absolute best friends in the world, and they were also the three people she knew best. She didn’t think Shane was heartbroken over what happened with Kat, but more accepting. But new things, even if it was just friends, made the process easier. She looked for Logan through the crowd but couldn’t find him so she headed to where she knew Ryan would be; by the fire. ‘Hey stretch’ she said, leaning down to hug him. Outfit

Samantha looked down at her skirt and legs, flexing her foot out so she could get a good look. She was back to feeling comfortable in her body. She’d taken her ‘ballerina’ diet a little to extreme before and had been pretty rail thin. Since she and Chad were trying to start a family he’d expressed his concerns to her about her eating habits and since then she’d put on a little weight. At first she thought she was fat, but in all reality she was still thin, but now she had a little extra curves and she actually felt comfortable in her own skin again. She looked at the flames of the bonfire and wondered if a rooftop bonfire was actually illegal. Whatever. It wasn’t like Logan couldn’t sweet talk his way into anything he wanted. She smiled as she thought of her cousin and lifted her eyes to look for him in the crowd. Aside from Chad there wasn’t a person she cared about more;sorry Lance. She loved them both, but there was such a sense of support that she got from Logan that it was pretty crazy. Samantha leaned into Chad’s side and kissed his cheek, smiling with her lips against his skin. For being married in Vegas, they had turned out pretty damn well. When she placed her cheek against his shoulder she watched as a younger girl approached Mackenzie. She didn’t think much of it until she saw the girl casually standing in a ballet position. She probably didn’t even realize she was doing it. Samantha gasped out of envy before she stood straight up and held her cup of soda out to Chad. “ Did you see that?” she questioned, not explaining to him what she had seen before she stepped away from him and made her way over to Mackenzie and the girl. ‘ Hey girls,” she said, casting a smile at Mackenzie before she turned to the young blonde and stuck her hand out. “ Samantha Masters… you are? ..A ballerina.. obviously..” she said, grinning. Of course Mackenzie was talking to a dancer. Samantha smiled again as the girl complimented her, she was going to miss that. Even if ballet had never been a huge passion in her life, what was a huge passion was perfecting something she was good at. She thrived on the acknowledgment that she had excelled at something, more than she thrived on the act of it. It was important to her to accomplish something. She watched as the girl looked over her shoulder and smiled at seeing Shane. Samantha lifted her eyebrow but smiled as the girl got a grin over her expressions and looked back at them distractedly. Sorry guys, nice to meet you. But uh…. Gotta go’. Samantha watched her leave before she turned to Mackenzie, “….Something wicked this way comes,” she said sarcastically before she smirked and headed back over to Chad, she held her hand against his chest before she kissed him quickly. “Riley’s looking for you,” she said while smiling at him. Madeline crossed her legs in her chair by Ryan as she looked down at her phone. Patrick was being a pain in her ass and demanding that she came home. Thankfully her arms had cleared up and the only remnant she had from his anger was under the shoulder covered by the fabric of her dress. She set her phone down, not texting him back before she looked back over at Ryan and smiled. It was difficult to be at a function with him, when she knew she couldn’t go home with him. It was easier to not touch him when she knew she could later on in the night, but tonight she actually had to go home. “ Are you thirsty?” she asked , looking over at him before she smiled, knowing the answer. “ Be right back,”. She placed her hands on the arms of the chair and pushed herself up before she went to get him a drink.Madeline put it together quickly before going over to Shane and hugging him. ‘ My copy better be signed,” she said, kissing his cheek. She offered him an extra drink she had made for him and came back to Ryan, holding the drink out to him as she sat down. Madeline smiled as Lance brought Lily over and handed her to Ryan. The girl was under a year old, and she was good. She narrowed her eyes at her sarcastically. “Mack teaching you that?” she said to Lily before she tickled her sides and sat back. Madeline let Ryan coo over Lily before she looked over at Mack, Samantha and some blonde. She tilted her head to the side and watched as the girl took her hair out of her fishtail braid and shook her hair out. She scoffed before she watched the way the girl moved. ’ She stole my move,” she said, smacking Ryan on the arm as she pointed at the young girl. Madeline narrowed her eyes as she watched her. Blonde hair. She was shorter, but proportionally.... well, she looked the same as Madeline. “…Who is that?” she said, generally knowing who people at these things were. She watched as the girl made her way to Shane and looked at Ryan. “ Oh my god she’s a groupie.. you gotta stop her.Poor Shane…” she said, clicking her tongue.Shane had been through enough lately, he sure as heck didn’t need this. Claire stepped off the elevator and stood still, looking through everyone. She hadn’t been able to get a hold of Natalia so she wasn’t sure if she was coming or not. But Blake had somehow gotten her number and invited her, and there wasn’t a chance in hell she was turning this down. She tried calling Ethan to tell him what her plans were tonight, but he had texted her that he was at the gym and to quit calling him. Even though she only called him once. He’d been really particularly crabby lately and she knew she needed to figure out what that was all about. Claire scanned through the crowd before she did a double take and stopped looking at Mackenzie Bannon. “ Whoa..” she said beneath her breath. She forgot for a moment that she was actually capable of walking and looked down at her feet, willing them to move. Finally she made her way over to Mackenzie, sort of surprised by the confidence she had in her walk as she approached her. “…Mackenzie Bannon?” she asked before she stood in front of her. “ You’re…an amazing dancer” she said, slightly embarrassed by how awestruck she was. She had no idea Shane was friends with her, what other reason would she be here? Mackenzie was one of those dancers that you could tell put her heart and soul into all of it. Even if they had different types of dancing under their belts, it didn’t mean she didn’t have a great amount of respect for it. She stood in third position subconsciously, never really realizing when she was doing things like that. Dance was just a part of you. Claire turned her head from Mackenzie and looked as Samantha Masters joined them. There was someone that was a bit more well known in her type of dancing. Her and Mackenzie were completely different dancers, but both ridiculously talented. ‘ Double whoa’ she thought to herself before she smiled as Samantha introduced herself. “ I would say that all the time if I was you,” she laughed, joking how Samantha must be proud to not only be a skilled ballet dancer, but married to Chad Masters. She talked to them for a few moments, taking her hair out of her messy fishtail braid and shaking it out. She looked over her shoulder and saw Shane. She smiled instantly and looked back at Samantha and Mackenzie. “ Sorry guys. Nice to meet you but uh….. gotta go” she said, turning on her heel and making her way away from them. Claire bit the side of her lip as she placed her hands over Shane’s eyes. “ Guess who,…” she said before she dropped her hands from his eyes and gave him a quick hug from behind. She stepped in front of him. “ So some major dbag is getting a party thrown for him… just for doing his job.. Kind of ridiculous, right?” she said, narrowing her eyes at him before she smiled. “ I got you a present to congratulate you,”. She reached back and took a small package of balloons out of her back pocket. They had hung out a few times since they first met, but the first night they hung out he had talked about wanting to drop water balloons off of a rooftop. “…This is a rooftop,…right?” she questioned sarcastically before she shook the bag at him. “ Come on, Scooby.”. She grabbed his forearm and pulled him towards the direction of the elevator so they could go find a sink and fill the balloons up. Outfit

Post by Shane Alexander Madden on Aug 13, 2011 23:22:09 GMT -5
Shane stood on the rooftop with the others, watching the fire from a distance and held his cup in his hand, smiling. He couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate, bonfires were kinda their thing. He waved off Alex's compliment, "Thanks man, you know just doing what I love. Can't argue with it, you get that." He was really pleased with how the album had come out. It was upbeat, but it had stuff on it too that meant a lot to him. It was a good mix. He shook his head, "No, that's Claire, she's a friend of mine. I didn't know she was coming though, I think Blake invited her." Shane smiled a little, looking over at Claire, talking to Mackenzie and Samantha. What a trio. He could only imagine what those three could accomplish in an hour in a dance studio. Shane just shook his head when Alex got dragged away by Zoe. That was funny. Shane liked having the "mini crew" around as he called it, they were like. Young and fun, but like, going through all the same stuff the bug kids had already done. Like it wasn't obvious Zoe thought Felicia and Alex were something of interest. It'd be interesting to see how that panned out anyways. Blake had come over and congratulated him, giving him a quick kiss, before turning to head over to Mack and Riley, but Shane pulled her back, hugging her, "Yeah I'll save you a seat." She had gone off and Shane took a sip of his drink, looking around and wondering if he should go say hi to Claire, but was they approached by Scarlet who he was excited to see since she was always fashionably late and it seemed you never did know if she was showing or not. "Aw thanks, yeah I'll catch up with you later."
No sooner had Scarlet left him alone then he had a pair of hands covering his eyes, but he recognized that voice, hugging him. As Claire stepped in front of him he rolled his eyes jokingly, "Oh yeah, what a tool he must be. I can't imagine he'd have any friends show up." He grinned, giving her a hug, "It was a rooftop last time a checked." He watched her pull out the balloons, grinning from ear to ear, "Ah, see we think alike, it's the perfect opportunity to ambush people from up here. I was scoping it out earlier." After she had pulled him into the elevator, Shane lead the way to the lounge and leaned against the counter beside the sink, "I didn't know you were going to be here, Blake must have tracked you down. Glad you are though." He smiled, turning the sink on, "I saw you talking to Mack and Sam, is that like comparable to me meeting Mark Hoppus?" Shane's favorite band had always been and always would be Blink 182. If he ever had the chance to meet those guys, work with them, go to their show, anything, they were like his idols. He wondered if people like Mack and Sam who were dancers too were like that for Claire.

Claire laughed at Shane as they joked about the guest of honor being a tool. “ Oh.. no. I don’t think he even has real friends.I mean.. imaginary ones are all the rage now. In fact, I’m not even real,” she said, wiggling her eyebrow at him before she laughed. She was glad that he led the way to the kitchen since she didn’t know where anything was here. “ So this must be like your home away from home. That’s how my studio feels,” she said, looking at each of the studios as they walked by them. The doors were open and they all seemed to be decorated so differently. She narrowed her eyebrows, wondering what that was about before she looked back at Shane and smiled. “ Too bad what happens in your studio actually entertains people, instead of requiring men to be dragged by their fingernails to see something they don’t really want to. You bring people happiness. I bring them migraines. And boredom.” she laughed as they reached the sink and placed her hands behind her and onto the counter. After she propped herself up, she crossed her legs and watched him fill the water balloons.
Claire made a slightly confused face. Mark Hoppus? “ Uh… yes” she said with a decisive nod. “ And yeah, thanks for the invite.. “ she said sarcastically before she smiled at him. She took the water balloons, tying them after he filled them and moved to open a cabinet and see if there was something they could carry the water balloons in. “ Okay we can do this but one rule.. if it’s a girl, check to see if her outfit looks designer.” she said, pointing her finger at him threateningly. She was all about fun and games, but not at the risk of murdering fashion. Claire put her hands on his shoulders and hopped down from the counter, picking some of the balloons up. “Hey you should show me your studio..” she said, smiling as she took a few steps backwards and into the hallway. “ I want to see where you work,..”. Claire leaned against the wall in the hallway and waited for him to come out. She really was looking forward to getting to know him as Shane,.. passionate musician who had a great circle of family and friends and not just.. Shane Madden. Frontman of All Time Low. " Hang on a second," she said, setting the water balloons down. She walked up to him as he came out of the kitchen and reached up, taking his hat off. She shook her head at him before she fluffed her fingers through his hair, trying to fix it for him. "...There." she said, stepping back and hijacking his hat by stuffing half of it into the back of her pocket.

Mackenzie turned around when she heard someone say her name and saw a small blond girl. Must be Claire. Blake had told Mack that Shae had been hanging out with a girl named Claire and had invited her, which Mackenzie thought, good for him. Of course it was disappointing that things between him and Kat hadn't worked out, but he didn't seemed too torn up over it and moving forward was good for him, especially if he was meeting new people and making new friends. Mack smiled sweetly, "Oh thank you," and then looked down at her feet subconsciously, "And you must be a dancer too." she laughed. As if Samantha had read her mind, Sam came over and made the same statement, knowing Claire must be a dancer and they made small talk before Riley came over, leaning down to kiss Mackenzie and hug her. Mack looked at him, not even listening to Sam and Claire anymore, wondering what on earth just came over him. He had not kissed her since before the accident. And she'd been very, very patient with him, not wanting to make him feel rushed or awkward, or uncomfortable since Mack was virtually like a stranger living with him. She knew she couldn't just walk up to him and like, seduce him without him being weirded out, but living with him and him still being him made it kinda hard to focus on being patient and waiting until he felt he was there. And he'd kissed her so casually, like he did it all the time. He must think, well i probably used to do it all the time, so its not weird. But it was weird simply for the fact that she'd been patiently waiting for this moment and now he just gives her a casual peck? She was about to spontaneously combust. Living with your boyfriend and not being able to kiss him, or anything beyond that was taking a toll on her. And she was frustrated in more ways then one. Claire excused herself, Mack looking away from Riley for a second where she'd been staring at him in awe, and said, "Nice meeting you Claire." Sam shrugged, watching Claire go over to Shane and she too excused herself. The second Sam was out of ear shot, Mack turned to Riley, looking at him, "No she's a friend of Shane's actually, Blake invited her. And hang on a second and rewind. You can't just-" she looked up to see Blake had approached them. Damn. She couldn't let this wait, she wanted to talk to Riley because now she was frustrated and new he didn't understand what kissing her did to her. It was like a small taste of what she couldn't have, like a tease. He was driving her crazy. Mack stepped away from Riley to hug Blake, "Hey hun. Listen, I have to.. go do something. Just real quick. With Riley, he's coming with me, we'll be back in a sec." Mack smiled brightly, hugging Blake again and then laced her fingers with Riley's and walked him back to the elevator. After the elevator doors had shut behind them, she turned to face him, "Look, I understand you don't remember any aspects of our relationship before and I understand it's been difficult for you. But It's been hard for me too, living with you, and not being able to kiss my own boyfriend, or do other things, because I'm like a stranger to you and of course I don't want to freak you out-" she was cut off by the elevator doors opening. She stopped talking, having seen Claire and Shane come back inside and knew they were around somewhere. Quietly she took his hand, pulling him down the hallway, peeking in the rooms. She didn't want to go in Shane's studio, no if he was in here. Or Blake's, you never know when she was going to suddenly have to work on something. She quietly walked past another studio, seeing her sister working quietly and shook her head before slipping into an empty studio at the end f the hallway and shutting the door behind him. "It's hard sitting around waiting for the day when you might miraculously fall back in love with me. And frankly..." she stepped closer to him, running her hands up his chest, lowering her voice, "you kissing me like that, like its no big deal, kind of drove me crazy. I've been a good girl, patient, and I've been waiting... I think I'm done waiting though... I think I might spontaneously combust..." Mack clutched his shirt in her hands, pulling him against her and kissed him, nothing like the peck she'd gotten. She kissed him for real, like she'd been waiting to do since he'd lost his memory of her. She'd had enough with the waiting, the least he could do was give her a little of what she wanted. Outfit

Felicia grinned at her best friend. Zoe was already gorgeous but she could look so cute when she let Felicia do things like curl her hair. Whatever. It'd attract some boy one day and Zoe could thank her. She looked up, seeing Zoe go over to talk and Shane and sat back in her seat by the fire, stretching her long legs out. Those legs ran in the family. She looked across the fire to her brother who was sitting with Madeline and being handed a baby. How cute. Felicia wasn't about to say anything about it, but she knew her brother. And she saw the way he looked at Madeline. Felicia knew that face, she could tell that was more then a crush. And if she wasn't mistaken, Madeline getting married hadn't seemed to change how he felt. Felicia suspected there was still a lot there, but she wouldn't say anything about it. Just because she was his sister and she knew him better than most didn't mean she would blow his cover. Let him deal with his shit on his own. Zoe had come back, dragging Alex back with her and left him, informing Felicia that she'd brought her a girt before walking off again. Why did every on think that Felicia and Alex had something going on? She was not into him like that. I mean, he was a nice guy, he was funny. They got along for the most part and yeah, they gave each other a hard time sometimes but not out of not liking each other. It was all in good fun. And yeah she thought he was kinda cute, in that weird, scene guy way... but Felicia was used to that type of guy. Hell, she grew up with her brother, and is friends. The scene guy type was familiar. Felicia shook her head, "Wow, you'd think she was trying to set us up or something. As if that would ever happen," she said in mock seriousness, as if that would be so horrible. She looked at him raising her eyebrows, and then looked away smiling faintly. "I mean, I would have thought you'd be much better at serenading someone... it's okay though. Not all guys have game." She teased, straightening her legs out in front of her, resting on her heels. Her legs looked super long from where she was sitting, but she figured, if you got 'em, why not show 'em off? Outfit

Chad wrapped his arm around Sam as she kissed him on the cheek. Lately they'd had a lot of ups and downs with the whole getting pregnant thing, as it seemed it just wasn't happening. And of course Chad thought they were both pretty open to other options like adoption, but he knew Sam really wanted their own baby and so did Chad. Neither of them was really ready to give up just yet, which was why fertility treatments were now a daily part of their lives right now. Chad just hoped something worked, because Sam had already been through enough, giving up dance, putting on a little weight, and coming to terms with body issues and just a lot of other stuff. Her eating habits. Chad looked at her as she stood up handing him her pop, "See what...?" He had no idea what she was talking about but leaned back comfortably in his chair while she went over to talk to his sister and a girl Chad didn't recognize. New people in the group was always a little unexpected but interesting none the less. They always had some story. They were rich, or famous for something, or connected to someone in the group on some way or another. He wondered who she knew in the group, but his question was answered when the girl approached Shane. That kind of explained it, Chad wondered if she was some type of rebound or if Shane had made a new friend.
Sam came back over and leaned down to kiss him, telling him that Rile was looking for him. Chad pulled her onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her, "Is he? Well I'm not to hard to find. Just find you, that's where I'm usually at." he smiled kissing her. "Who was that girl you were talking to? I haven't seen her around before." Chad looked over to see Mackenzie taking Riley back inside downstairs. Riley probably wouldn't be looking for Chad for a while.
