After leaving his life, quitting college to pursue his career in music over year and half ago, Jay was back in New York after spending half a year in Los Angeles. The first thing he had to do before he actually goes to his condo, which is after few days of being in New York, New York meeting his fans and hanging out with his friends. It felt good, no better, to be back in New York where his life is other than back in England where he his parents are. He never thought that he would make it this big and how much he accomplished too. Now that he looks back at it, he doesn't regret quitting college. The most thing that shocked him was the fact that his parents supported him, not much of his girlfriend. Clearly, she did but he didn't want to her to be with him when he's trying to make it big in the industry. He sacrificed a lot to get where he is right now, his (ex) girlfriend, his daughter, education but that's part of life.
Jay had only gotten six hours of sleep the night before he has an interview with a magazines. He was up bright and early to get his day on then catch up with his good friend, Brittany. Jay wasn't nervous about the interview, he grew confident in himself and each day he was loving how he's only one step away from getting his own villa. That's a promise that he made when he set out in the music industry, over the years he worked with great people, his fans inspires him to do what he does, more importantly he wouldn't be there without his parents' blessing and support. His parents always supported him through out his life, kept him grounded and true to himself. Till this day, he hasn't lied about anything or hid from his friends and family, they know everything from his secrets to having a beautiful daughter. He does miss her, though tries not to let it get it to him when he's being professional about it. It was best like that. His parents does send pictures and videos of his little girl, makes him smile and sad that he missed out on a good experience. It had to be done one way or another.
After he finished the interview, Jay took pictures with his fans, signed autographs and such before getting into his car and driving to his hotel. Jay sent a text to his friend, Brittany. Just finished the interview, let me change and I'll meet you in the hotel lobby. Jay pulled his car at the hotel, parked his car and got out; he made his way up to his room, smiling and greeting people as he went up. He unlocked his door, went inside and closed the door behind him. His phone chimed in his hand to see a voicemail. He ignored it, placed his phone in charge and took his clothes out. Jay hummed one of Jay-Z's song as he turned on the heat, it was getting little more chilly in New York, then stripped down to his boxers before wearing his new clothes. He threw the clothes he had worn earlier in the hamper to wash it before going to the bathroom to fix his hair and actually look decent. Jay took his phone out of the charger, turned off all the lights in his room, walked out of the room, and down to the lobby. There he sat down on one of those sofa chair, as he picked up a newspaper, and started reading as he waited for Brittany.
