Dani laid against the back of Kiersten's couch, replaying the events that had happened the day before. [ B] " Lance has never been this mad at me before. Not even when I broke up with him,"[/b] she said, poking her spoon into the orange sherbert. Lance had gone into isolation mode where the only person he wanted to hang out with. He hadn't even shown up on set which could mean one of two things ; he was still too pissed off to even be around them, or he was drunk and Logan had convinced him to stay home. Dani finished swallowing her sherbert lazily before she looked in Kiersten's direction. " I'm not sure what all Lance told you about the situation. The truth of the matter is, I didn't want anyone to know. Which is selfish on my part but there's a lot at stake. And now its been two days, and now two people will know. Not that you shouldn't, I'm just scared of this getting out of hand. How many more people are going to find out? When will Jake and I have everything ripped out from underneath us?". Dani shook her head while running her hand over her face. She figured Kiersten had suspicions about her and Lance. Jake knew that Dani wasn't in love with Lance and he still wasn't thrilled persay about how much time they spent together, and Kiersten didn't really know anything about the situation which only left her to make her own assumptions.
" I don't know what all Lance has told you so I'll just start from the beginning" she sighed, leaning forward to place the sherbert on the coffee table. " When I was dating Lance I really did care about him. I still love Lance, I'm just not in love with him. Anyways... Him and Jake are best friends. And I tried, honestly Kiersten, I tried not to have feelings for him. For more than one reason. And it just started with these glances, which turned into moments... Finally one day after we were all hanging out and Lance had gone home I confronted Jake. He admitted how he felt but also wouldn't go any further than that. He cared about Lance too much. And despite what I did next, I do too. I told him we just needed one kiss. Just one. It would tell us everything we needed to know and with that we wouldn't have to constantly wonder what if, or put Lance in an even worse situation. I thought it was best, so I kissed him. And it was sweet, short...innocent. But then we backed away and looked at each other and it just overwhelmed me. I needed more, of him. In every way. Anyways we kissed again but that was it. We never did anything else. Not long after I ended things with Lance. Jake and I couldn't tell anyone about our relationship because Disney will have a fit so it needed to be a secret. Jake wanted to tell Lance all along but he was so hurt when I broke up with him I couldn't devastate him more by telling him I was in love with Jake. And I still am. I love every single part of him. Kiersten I never thought I could feel this way about someone. But I just.... He's everything. He's what makes me happy. What pisses me off, comforts me. He's kind of like seeing color for the first time. But I'm a horrible person. I'm a bad friend for what I did to Lance and a bad girlfriend for asking Jake to do the same. If I had known this would have hurt either of them this much, I should have just quit the show. " she said looking down at her phone in her lap and wondering what Jake was up to. " I'm so going to hell..." she said quietly before she turned her head against the back of the couch to look at Kiersten.

Listening to Dani talk about Jake was like listening to someone describe how she felt about Lance. Kiersten didn't need to be told much to know that Dani was obviously in love with Jake, ans she must be, since they'd apparently been together for so long, It kind of made Kiersten wonder how long she and Lance had been together. Technically not that long, but if you counted all the time they'd been together, and how long she knew she had feelings for him... that was almost just as long as Dani and Jake. Bur Kiersten didn't need to count months to know she loved Lance. She already knew that. She listened as Dani explained what was going on, how she and Jake had hid their relationship from Lance, and everyone else. Kiersten really didn't need all the details, but it wasn't about her. Dani was her friend, and she probably just wanted to get it off her chest. Kiersten didn't mind listening. Basically what it came down to was Lance being lied to. Which Kiersten knew probably pissed him off. Like big time. Kiersten sat down beside Dani, watching her as she spoke and finally shook her head, "No you're not. Dani, some of the best people do regrettable things but that doesn't make you horrible. But... Lance is probably mega pissed. Which explains why he's being so distant..." she trailed off, looking at her blank phone. She knew Lance all too well to know what he was most likely doing. And by all means she'd probably join him if it weren't a school night. She knew she wasn't the greatest student, but she was at least trying. She owed it to a lot of people to at least try. A lot of people who she wouldn't be in her good situation with out. People like her sister and Chad and Lance and Logan, who had given her a lot of opportunities and would probably think she was an ungrateful brat if she didn't take them and make something out of herself. She was a hard worker... she just hated school.
Kiersten was glad Dani had told her though. If Dani hadn't told her herself, what would she have thought? Maybe she would have thought Lance was mad about them breaking up. Maybe she'd have thought Lance still wanted Dani... she didn't know. But Dani loved Jake. And Lance was just pissed they'd lied to him. That was what she'd gathered. So far. "Wait, you don't think he wishes you wouldn't have broke up? I mean, he's just mad because he was lied to... right..." She sighed. She wanted to be there for Lance but Dani was her friend. Quite honestly she didn't want in the middle but at the same time she wasn't so sure there was anything to be in the middle of. She just hoped everyone forgve everyone, eventually.

Dani watched Kiersten as she spoke, wishing that she could feel like she was just a decent person who had done a regrettable thing. But she just felt horrid. What was worse, she felt more worse about putting Jake in that position, than actually doing it herself to Lance. She groaned, laying her head back as she ran her hands over her face. No amount of sherbert was going to will this away. And for the first time ever she’d been timid around Jake. Though she was pretty sure he was going to start trying to intentionally piss her off soon just so they could have a spat. She pursed her lips in thought; now that she thought about it that probably wasn’t such a bad idea. Their spats usually ended with a much happier ending. But then Kiersten made a comment, questioning what Lance had been upset over and felt a look of disgust form across her features. “ Ew. No. Lance does not want me… Why in hell would he? Have you seen your ass? You’re required to walk backwards out of every room that Jake is in. Ever.” she said , sitting up away from the couch. ‘You have body. Judging by mine, Jake has a preference for twelve year old boys,” she said, looking down at herself and poking her leg before she stood up and made her way into the kitchen.
After grabbing two bottles of water from the fridge, and dropping her spoon off in the sink, she made her way back out to the living room and tossed a water bottle in Kiersten’s direction on the couch. “Did you seriously ever wonder about that? I mean, I know we met through Lance. But you’re one of my best girl friends. Don’t you think I would’ve said something to you? You know my personality… I’m not the quietest of our bunch” she said, picking up her cell phone to check her phone for any messages as she plopped onto the couch. “ I’m sorry that I’m the cause of Lance being so distant from you. He’ll be better soon, with you at least. And with Jake. That’s his best friend… I’m just the whore that lied to him,” she said, raising her water bottle in a mock cheers. Dani bit the inside of her cheek, staring at the water bottle before she looked back at Kiersten. “ I really, really love him. What if I’m capable of doing something like this to him? Hurting him? “ she questioned, knowing Kiersten would know she was talking about Jake. “ I can’t even explain how I’d feel without him.. it would literally be like.. a desert. With no rain… ever..”. She frowned, pouting out her bottom lip slightly as she tried to imagine even a day without Jake in her life somehow. She didn’t even believe that he knew how much she cared about him, how much she loved him.

Kiersten laughed when Dani joked about their bodies. She had to admit she'd lucked out in that department. But she was just glad Dani didn't think of Lance like that anymore. Kiersten sighed, taking the water bottle, "I don't know why I even thought that, I was just being stupid. I know me and Lance are good..." She knew she was being stupid, she had nothing to be worried or insecure about in her relationship. But still, she remembered when Lance had been dating Dani. He'd been happy then too. Kiersten shook her head when Dani apologized about Lance being distant, "Ugh... no more talk like that. He'll get over it, he's a big boy." Kiersten wrapped her legs up under herself on the couch, taking a drink of her water. It was funny. The way Dani talked about Jake was exactly how she felt about Lance. "Yeah, I get what you mean.Like, I know I can't spend every friggin day with him, but every day I don't get to see him I'm like.... it sucks." Kiersten stopped, thinking, mumbling to herself now, "One day, is like... a year with out rain... oh my gosh. That's good." Kiersten hopped up, grabbing a pen and a notebook, writing it down and looking at Dani, "Okay what else you got?"
A few hours and almost a complete song later, Kiersten was still writing things in the notebook, crossing things out, writing little music scores in the margins and melody ideas. They'd made the short trip to Dani's apartment in the meantime, knocking this song out of the park. She had closed her laptop, knowing that Lance and Jake were coming over and looked at Dani, "We have to get in the studio like tomorrow." Kiersten looked up when she heard the door open, probably Jake and an already drunk Lance. But what was new.

Lance dug through his desk drawer to find everything they’d need for tonight before he put it in his jacket pocket and headed downstairs. If Disney only knew. He reached down and picked up his bottle of scotch before he headed out of the apartment. Joel was out for the night so he didn’t need to worry about saying goodbye to him or anything. He went down the stairs quickly, skipping the elevator. Once he got outside he spotted Jake’s car and made his way over. After opening the passenger door he slid in, tossing the bottle into the backseat. “ Kind of surprised the girls agreed to this,” he said, sort of surprised at how calmly he had just mentioned Dani in front of Jake. Then again, he was pretty drunk already. He looked over at Jake, not sure if he should say anything else. No. They said they were good in the chat. They weren’t chicks, they didn’t need to keep talking about their feelings. Lance brought his hand up to his hair and shook it out before he reached into his jacket pocket and took out his Ziploc bag. Lance sat back in the front seat, squeezing the ends of the wrapper tightly before he brought it between his lips. He sucked in air through the end as he brought his lighter to the other end of it, letting it light quickly before he turned his head to the side and coughed quietly. Always easier to start those things when you hadn’t been drinking all day. ‘ Do you know the way to Da-.. never mind” he said, giving a small nod. Awkward. “ Oh … this is so weird, mate…. You’re dating Dani. You’re in love with her. That’s…..weird….” he said, before he turned to look at Jake. But a part of him was overpowering the part that was mad. He still cared about Jake as a friend. He narrowed his eyebrows as he looked down at the lighter in his hands. “ Does it suck to have to hide your relationship? I would think that would suck,” he said, looking over at Jake for his reaction. Just a few minutes later they were pulling up to Dani’s place and he could already feel not only the alcohol but everything else. He walked up to the steps, raising his hand to knock on the door when he saw Jake fishing a key out of his pocket. “ What the bloody hell is that?” he questioned, watching Jake’s hands move to the door like he’d done it a thousand times. Hell, he probably had. Nine months, what was that? Two-hundred seventy days. Give or take. But she probably didn’t give him a key right away. That probably came like what… four months in? Five months of having a key. One hundred and fifty days. Probably didn’t use it every day. Three days a week? He’d used that key atleast sixty times. He blinked as he watched Jake open the door and then stepped inside behind him. “ The man has a KEY” he yelled out, following Jake into the home and shaking his head as he saw Kiersten, wrapping his arm around her shoulders and pulling her in for a kiss. “ A key, the man has a key” he said, still slightly bewildered at the situation. “ Keys aren’t for meaningless shit. That’s deep shit. Shit is deep. Sixty days deep, Kiersten”. he said giving her a pointed look.

Dani smiled as she looked at Kiersten and nodded in agreement. “ I think we did something pretty awesome,” she said. Neither of those boys understood how much they cared about them. She was sort of nervous about seeing Lance, especially when he was drunk. It wouldn’t take much for him to say the wrong thing, for Jake to get pissed, then for Kiersten to get upset. But maybe having Kiersten around would mellow Lance out a bit. She looked up as she heard the door open, looking at Kiersten and mumbled under her breath. “ He used his key,”. She put her hands down on the couch and pushed herself off before she headed towards the boys. Lance was already making his way to Kiersten, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her. Which was a pretty rare of public display of affection for him, before she smiled tiredly at Jake and hugged him. “ What the hell did you do to him?” she whispered in his ear before she leaned away and held her hands on his jawline while she kissed him. She bit against his bottom lip gently before she stepped away from him and smiled at Kiersten and Lance. Okay.. yeah, awkward. “ Kiersten this is my secret boyfriend…. Jake.. who is also my brother.” she said, running her hand through her bangs and shaking her hair out.
“ I made food! And I ordered a pizza to be delivered in like an hour. I wasn’t sure what the protocol was for this,” she said, scrunching her nose in embarrassment as she looked at Jake. “ Unfortunately you boys missed the kiss. She’s really handsy,.. by the way. Nice score on that one, Lance” she said, patting Kiersten on the butt sarcastically as she headed into the kitchen to go get everyone something to drink. Well, either that or something to add to whatever Lance had brought with him. She figured Jake wouldn’t follow her into the kitchen, but she sort of hoped he would. It would give her a second with him, and also Lance and Kiersten a few moments together. Which she figured they sort of needed since what had been said in the chat. She clicked her tongue as she looked through the fridge and sighed, pulling out a few different drinks and setting them on the counter before she went to the stove to check on the spaghetti she had made for Jake.

Jake watched the road in the New York traffic, occasionally glancing at Lance who was not only drunk but already lighting up. Well. At least he wasn't threatening to beat him up. Actually, Lance seemed to be acting like everything was okay. Or at least they'd both agreed they were over it. And honestly, it was no big deal. Jake was over it. He knew it was wrong, he'd told the truth, he got what he probably deserved, and they moved on. Not that difficult. Jake just hoped that Lance would forgive Dani. Jake could deal with it if Lance was pissed at him for longer, but he knew it bugged Dani that Lance was still giving her the cold shoulder and had forgiven Jake so fast. Then again, he was worried he was only acting like this because he wasn't sober. Maybe he'd be pissed again when he was sober. Jake nodded when Lance asked about his relationship with Dani being a secret, "Yeah, it sucks." Jake followed Lance into Dani's building, fishing out his key when Lance realized the door was locked. As he unlocked the door, Lance made a comment about it, Jake laughed, "What do you think it is, it's a key genius." As they went inside, Jake kicked his shoes off, shaking his head while Lance went to Kiersten, still talking about the damn key.
Jake smiled at Dani, wrapping his arms around her waist when she kissed him, "He did that all on his own." Jake laughed, smiling at Kiersten, "Nice to meet you finally," and then watched the exchange between the girls. Jake hadn't really realized that Dani and Kiersten were that close, but he figured it made sense if Dani was on set all the time and Kiersten spent most of her time out of school in the studio. Jake followed Dani to the kitchen, placing his hands on her shoulders from behind her and leaned down to kiss her cheek. "You know Lance, he's got a problem, the drinking begins. But you and Kiersten are pretty good friends, I'm surprised I haven't met her until now." Jake rubbed her back, moving to the cupboard and pulled out a glass and went to get some ice before he made a drink.

Dani took down a plate and started putting together plate for Jake when she felt him put his hands on her shoulders and smiled faintly as he kissed the side of her cheek. “ Hey” she said softly resting against him for a moment before she turned and watched him get himself something to drink. She nodded, knowing that he was right about how Lance handled situations in his life. “ Someday he’ll get over it. But seriously, Jake… what the hell? How come he can forgive you and not me? I mean yeah you two are best friends. But we had a relationship. That’s important, too. Aren’t I important? Why am I not as important as you? Does he have to punch me? Is that what made it better? Cause he can punch me. I don’t want this to go on forever. If him punching me gets it over with, then fine. I’ll give him one shot… I mean.. yeah.. I might punch back, but come on seriously.” she sighed giving herself a small pout before she looked past his shoulders to try and see out of the kitchen where Kiersten and Lance were, and where Lance was seriously putting some moves on Kiersten.
Dani looked at the plate of spaghetti , then Jake. She decided for him that he wasn’t hungry right now and picked it up, placing wrap over it before putting it in the fridge and muttering to herself quietly. “Jake there was something I wanted to talk to you about,” she said coughing nervously as she placed her hands in her back pockets. “ As you’re aware, I live here alone. Without my parents. With this pretty big space. And you have a key and all.. and I thought maybe you could have a drawer… and maybe half the closet space.. and I don’t know I mean..pfff… a place to park. I mean I think your xbox would fit in my entertainment center. And I have more room for shampoo bottles in my shower. Disney’s really pushing this whole ‘ Go Green’ revolution.. and I don’t know.. one living space seems like we’d be doing our part. Saving the planet. Maybe a little afternoon delight every now and then” she said, scratching the back of her neck before she smiled at him nervously. “ I mean you can think about it. You don’t have to decide now,” she stood on her toes and kissed him quickly. “ I love you. And I want you here. But if you decide to,.. so help me god if you leave socks out on the floor that are dirty I will chop them up until they are slivers and serve them to you like some sweatshop taco” she smiled before she patted her hand against his butt quickly and headed back into the living room. “ Okay people. Corrupt me,” she said, looking back at Jake, hoping he would let her know soon what his decision was.

Kiersten looked at Lance, trying not to laugh. He apparently was way ahead of the game compared to the rest of them. But that was okay, Kiersten wasn't far behind him. She smiled at him, giving him a questioning look when he pulled her against him and kissed her. He never did that. He was so not a PDA type of guy. But then again, he was drunk. So that pretty much summed it up. But she kissed him back none the less, smiling at Jake, "You too." He seemed nice. She understood what Dani liked about him and seeing as Dani's feelings for Jake seemed to mirror her own for Lance, it was nice to at least have met him now. Kiersten laughed when Dani joked about them kissing and said the boys had missed it. "Yeah, sorry guys. Show's already over." She saw Dani go into the kitchen and watched Jake follow her, leaving her alone with Lance. She looked at Lance, obviously not in his right state of mind, but she knew why. She wondered how long it would be until he forgave Dani. She took his hand after they left, rubbing her thumb on the inside of his palm, "You really punched your best friend?" She questioned, looking back toward the kitchen. She shrugged, "Well, he looks fine to me."
Kiersten wrapped her arms around behind him, fishing in his pocket for his lighter and something to light. She grinned and kissed him, pulling away and lit it for herself, taking a hit. She slid the lighter on the coffee table, wrapping her arms back up around his neck, leaning into him. She rested her head against his shoulder, kissing his neck, "I love you... all of you." She leaned away enough to look at him, running her hand through his hair, "You're so bombed though," she giggled, starting to feel different already.

Lance grinned down at Kiersten as he kissed her cheek, letting her reach around to his back pocket to search for his lighter and other belongings. He wasn’t proud that he had punched Jake, and more importantly because he knew how Kiersten felt about violence. “ I did.” he said, giving a small nod. There was no sense in denying it. He tilted his neck to the side, letting her kiss the side of his neck as he placed his hand against her hip. “ Yeah? I love all of you, too.” he said, smiling down at her as he placed his hand into the side of her hair and traced his thumb over her jawline. He laughed as she told him he was bombed and opened his mouth to say something but then just nodded instead. ” Very much,” he said, wrapping his arms around her protectively and setting his cheek against the top of her head. He heard Dani come in the room and could feel himself tense slightly. He still didn’t trust her, not even in their friendship. The rest of it didn’t matter.
Lance lifted his cheek away from Kiersten’s head and looked over his shoulder to see Jake and Dani coming in. He forced a small smile. This was still weird. But maybe having their first hang outs while they were sort of trashed in the first place, probably wasn’t a bad idea. Take the edge off things. ”Haha.. I don’t know anything about corruption,” he said carefully. He looked down to make sure Kiersten was holding on tightly to the light between her fingers before he picked her up and sat down on the couch, setting her gently in his lap. After he pulled her legs over his own he reached up and took it from Kiersten, placing it between his own lips before he took in a deep breath to take a hit and reached out to hand it over to Jake. ‘ Considering Jake is my best friend and Dani and Kiersten are so close, this probably should’ve happened a long time ago,” he said, gesturing around to all of them hanging out and spending time together.

Jake got his ice, pouring himself a drink from whatever he and Lance had brought with them, looking back at Dani who was being adorable and making him a plate of food. But he felt bad about Lance being mad at her and not him. They'd both made the mistake, regardless of who thought of it or suggested it. He shook his head, looking at her seriously, "He won't lay a hand on you," but smiled anyways. He also watch as she put his plate of food away and he could feel his face drop as he watched her cover it. "But..." he trailed off, looking back at her. When she said she had something she wanted to talk to him about her nodded, hopping onto the counter and gave her his attention, "Okay, go." He realized how... not Dani she'd got. Usually she was so sure of her words, not afraid to say what was on her mind. And she'd just suddenly gotten so nervous. He listened as she invited him to move in. He nodded, thinking. That would be okay. More than okay. She came back to her normal self, threatening to mutilate his poor socks, and then left him behind in the kitchen. Hmmm. Move in. That could work. After all she was here by herself, so she wouldn't be alone... and the only people that he'd care about knowing just in case they dropped in already knew. Really, they were in the clear. Seemed like a good idea to him.
Jake followed her into the living room, pulling he onto the couch beside him. He laughed when they talked about corrupting Dani, which really, was exactly what it was. He reached his hand out toward Lance's hand, looking at Lance and Kiersten. Both already baked. They were a funny pair. Jake thought a lot of guys out there would kill for a girlfriend who was so chill and cool with her boyfriend waltzing in drunk and high, and just joining him like it was the most natural thing in the word. Maybe it was because they were "friends" for such a long time. They managed to balance the normal stuff and the romantic stuff pretty good. But Jake thought, so do me and Dani. We're pretty good at hiding it too. Jake took a hit, leaning toward Dani, "So, what do you think, give it a go?" He smiled at her. Honestly if she changed her mind it was no big deal. She might just end up thinking they were a bunch a nutters, but that's the price you pay being the only sober one.

Dani smiled as she watched Kiersten and Lance. She and Lance had never been that comfortable around one another, at least she had never felt that comfortable. She crossed her legs, resting her arm against Jake’s leg as he sat up to reach Lance’s hand. She felt so young compared to all of them, each of them looking so comfortable. It felt so strange being able to sit like this with Jake around other people. It almost made it feel more real, and nerve-wracking at the same time. “ Please,” she said with an offended tone, trying to hide the fact that she was slightly nervous. Dani pushed her hair from her face and sat up against Jake’s side, taking it from his hands. ‘ Easy as it looks’ Lance said, covering his grin with his fingers. Dani made a skeptical look at her boyfriend, the guy she had just asked to move in with her. That was a pretty big deal. And they were kids, but she felt like they could do it. They could balance being kids and being adults. If he decides to move in, adult. Sitting in her, possibly..their…, living room, smoking with their friends. Kid. ‘ Just do it’ she thought to herself before she brought it to her lips and took in a drag before she made a face at the taste of it and turned her head away.
Dani glared at Lance as she heard him snickering and then cleared his throat, trying to be serious. ’Sorry, you just need to try again. It won’t burn if you breathe in deeply. Try again,”. Dani sighed, pushing her bangs away from her face again before she took in another drag, this time letting it go to her lungs a lot better than the first time. ‘ Good. That’s better. But uh.. third time’s a charm’ he said encouraging her while he leaned back and wrapped his arm around Kiersten. Dani frowned. Did everyone else take in three? Maybe they were better at it. But how hard could it be really? Plus Lance was sort of having a laughing fit. Was he crying? Dani pinched the end of it again before she took in another drag, trying to breathe in deeply like Lance had said before she sat back and held it away from her like it was trying to kill her.

Kiersten laughed, letting Lance pick her up and rested against him, wrapping her arms around his waist. If Dani had never smoked before it could get really interesting. And Kiersten was cool with smoking, it just made her super mellow. And the funny thing was, smoking with Lance was probably one of the most normal, routine things about her and Lance, as odd as it was. It was something that didn't change when they started saying they were officially together. The friend part of them never changed, they just added some extra stuff. Kiersten rested her head on is shoulder, watching as Lance told her what she should do, but every time she took a hit, Kiersten's eyes got bigger. "Lance!" she said, lightly smacking his arm, "You're horrible, she's gonna be baked out of her mind..." Kiersten covered her mouth, hiding her laughter and tried to keep it in. "Oh Dani, pass that over here," she giggled, "You're done," Kiersten took it from Dani, taking another hit herself. She passed it off, holding it out for whoever to take it, closing her eyes. This weed made her so mellow she thought maybe she could take a nap. And eat a few pizzas. "Lance, don't you want to take a nap? Pot makes me tired... i need a drink. And a pizza." Kiersten stood up, walking lazily to the kitchen. She felt like her feet were a hundred pounds each. "Dani, if you feel sleepy, have a drink, works for me."

" Haha, I'm sorry mate" he laughed, looking over in Jake's direction as he tried to control his laughter. Lance let his arms lay lazily over Kiersten’s own lap and chuckled as he watched Dani. He’d been laughing so hard he’d actually cried a little. He brought his hand up and wiped the tears away before he watched Kiersten reach back for it and take her turn before holding it back out. He didn’t need any more, he was pretty good for now. He smiled as he watched her, kissing the side of her neck before he sat back and looked back over at Dani and Jake. “ Even if we did get caught, we could all gang up on Kiersten and say she was trying to corrupt the mickey mouse club one wizard or..werewolf.. at a time,” he said teasingly as he picked up his drink and took a few drinks. He listened as Kiertsen talked to Dani about having a drink, and had already stated the fact that she was sleepy and tired. Lance wrapped his arm around to reach in front of Kiersten before he offered her his drink and rested his arm behind his head.
Sitting with Jake and smoking wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Neither was sitting and smoking with Kiersten. It was sort of awesome to have a girlfriend who was so chill. He’d had an ex before that had gone psycho on him in public for his lifestyle choices, acting like his mother. Kiersten just let him be himself, and he had to admit that it was pretty damn awesome she’d fallen for him. He knew he had lucked out on that one. “ I’m gonna go get Kiersten a drink and find her something to eat before the pizzas get here so she doesn’t starve,” he said sarcastically, wrapping his arms around her as he stood up and placed her on her feet. Lance smiled as he looked down at her and tilted his head to the kitchen. “ Come on, love” he said through his grin, focusing his attention on finding something for her to forgo a nap, and to also snack on. Once inside the kitchen he opened the freezer and started looking through a few different things, setting out a few options for Kiersten.

Jake rested his arm around Dani's back, shaking his head when she took it from Lance, not sure what to do with it. He grinned, raising his eyebrows. She took a hit, which Jake thought was good enough, don't over do it the first time. But then Lance told her to do it again, and then again... sheesh. Dani was gonna be messed up. Jake looked at Lance, giving him a, come on dude, look. But Kiersten had already scolded him, even through her own laughter. Jake had to admit it was sort of funny. Jake just hoped Lance doing that was out of funniness and not out of still being pissed at her. Because that was a lot for someone who never did it before. Kiersten looked like she was about to fall asleep right where she was anyways, before she got up and headed for the kitchen with Lance to get food or whatever. Jake had almost forgot about his own, which was on the coffee table. He picked it up, taking a drink and offered it to Dani if she wanted it. "So how do you feel? Weird yet?" He grinned, hell yeah she probably felt weird as fuck. But Jake really thought it was harmless. He leaned into her, "Later you'll have to show me my drawer." He smiled, kissing her softly, and wrapped an arm around her. Those pizzas couldn't get her soon enough.
