Zoe flipped a page in her magazine, holding her glass of scotch in her right hand before she gasped, staring at a pair of shoes she really liked. “ FELICIA” she yelled, looking over the back of the couch towards the hallway. Seriously, she needed to get out here and start throwing a few drinks back in order to catch up with Zoe. She gave a small sigh, looking at the table where she spotted Felicia’s sunglasses that she must have tossed on the coffee table from earlier in the day. Zoe threw her magazine to the side before taking another drink from her glass and sitting up, picking up Felicia’s sunglasses and placing them on. She turned quickly, knocking her knee against the edge of the couch but watched her glass carefully to make sure that she didn’t spill any of her drink. After reaching her purse she reached inside and took out her ipod. One nice thing about working at the studio was that they got all of the music way before it was released. Especially if it was with an artist they worked with frequently. Like Joel. He was so cute, but the problem was that he was a mini Logan. Flirting with every girl that came across him, making her feel like she was special. She rolled her eyes thinking about him, before she found his playlist in her iPod and set it on the speaker system in her and Felicia’s living room. New York had brought a lot of things for her and Felicia that she hadn’t expected. Primarily, Anthony and Alex.
Anthony had been here a few times, at least enough to meet Felicia. But Alex hadn’t stepped foot in their apartment yet. Probably that cat and mouse game him and Felicia seemed to be playing with each other. Zoe tilted her head back and finished her drink before she started the playlist and went to get herself a refill. Enough people made fun of Joel for his song ‘Baby’, so playing that one would have been way too obvious. Zoe ran into the kitchen to refill her glass before she came back into the living room and switched it to the song ‘ Love Me’. Zoe took a drink as she made her way down the hallway and pushed Felicia’s door open quickly, moving her sunglasses down to look at her. Maybe she was a little drunk,but that didn’t mean they didn’t have things to talk about. Or that they couldn’t have fun. There were a whole group of girls that spent a lot of time together, but it was sort of funny that for such a close group, there were also tighter knit friendships within them. Felicia, Zoe. Dani,Kiersten. Claire had Natalia, plus Claire flittered between both groups. Zoe made a kiss face at Felicia before she leaned her back against her doorframe and brought her hand into her hair, lip-synching the words to Joel’s song as she slithered down against the doorframe while dancing, trying to get Felicia to join in with her. After stepping away from the doorframe, Zoe lifted her hand with the glass in it straight into the air and did her best Joel impression with his dance moves. “ … Love me, love me. Say that you love me. Fool me, fool me oh how you do meeee. Kiss me, kiss me. Say that you miss me” Zoe laughed before she placed her hand around Felicia’s cheeks, her thumb holding onto her left cheek and her other fingers grasping her other before she gave her a kiss and stepped back.
