Joel's pretty much the closest friend you have in the business that gets what thats like, huh? People are going to see him, you know. They moved him to the hospital here in New York. I'm sure if we talked to Madeline she'd be cool with us going to see him while you're here, if you're up for that. |

- nods- We can go. Do you have Madeline's number, otherwise I can call her. She said the other day she was surprised she hadn't heard from you yet, actually. But I mean.. I told her you were just kind of dealing with it in your own way. And I'm sure he'll know you're there. It'll mean a lot.
But uhhh, oh yeah... I don't know what March looks like for you but I'm gonna be out of the state for a while. Going on tour with The Maine for a bit. You know... groupie lovin'. Or.. try to poach off the girls that Ryan wants nothing to do with and hope they'll settle for me. |

Yeah I do. I can call her and talk to her. I should have called her already.
Oh that's exciting. Uhh...my March is kind of crazy. Filming will still be going on. I'll be in Paris for the first week or so and then Rock In Rio..back to Michigan to wrap up filming, hopefully, and then The Last Song premiere on the 30th.....You're not that bad, I'm sure they'll be following you like lost puppies.--winks--. |

That's what the producer and co-producer, aka my mom, want. They said we don't have to go as a "date couple" but we have to walk and answer questions together. |

I'm sure that was just for the public. It would have been awkward for the audience and Ellen and bad publicity for the movie if we let any tensions or resentment show through. I mean, we're still friends and we're always going to be, but it won't be the same.....I actually wanted to know if you would go to a premiere or the premieres with me...I understand if you don't want o..seeing that wouldn't make me happy, but we can drive together and sit together and go to the after party together... |

- laughs- Uh.. Ethan's made it clear he hates the media. I don't think he ever does anything for the purpose of keeping a good name for publicity sake.
