Anthony plugged his phone in and headed into the kitchen when Zoe said she was on her way. He needed to talk to her. He really just wanted to see her, but there were things he needed to get out. This girl had something over him, he didn't know what it was, but he couldn't leave. She tortured, not really, but she did. He was in the same situation that Stefan was in with Hillary before they started dating. That was not Anthony Owen, he was never like this. Usually he would just say goodbye to the girl and that would be it. Not Zoe, she was different. He stared out the window, waiting. Today was the day. He wanted to go further, he was ready. The only question was, was she? Anthony had never been so sure about anything like this before. He sighed and headed into the living room.
He sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. Two and A Half men was on. Good, he needed a laugh. That fight with Claire and her just being childish really got to him. She didn't accept his apology..at all. It was like she didn't even take it into consideration. He rarely apologized, so when he did, everyone knew he meant it. Whatever, he sure as hell wasn't going to let Claire ruin his time with Zoe. It was all about Zoe now. He continued to watch TV as he laid down on his stomach with his hands under his head. Zoe knew which door was his and knew she could just walk right in, so getting up wasn't and issue.

Zoe got out of the cab, clinging to the pizza box that she had picked up on the way over, placing The Town on top if it since that was what she had rented at the movie store. Something about Boston, and bank robberies. Whatever, he’d probably like it. Or he could pick something else out. She knew he had a lot on his mind, otherwise he probably wouldn’t have been so cool with her calling in sick to work, and coming over right after school. Claire was one of her good friends, but she definitely cared about Anthony too. They had both sort of been in the wrong, but she wasn’t going to let it effect how she viewed them. It was still weird coming over with Ethan gone. It felt like the place was entirely Anthony’s. She didn’t really know what to think of what was going on between them. She hadn’t really had a boyfriend before. The first boy she’d ever kissed had been Felicia’s brother and she’d sort of been doe-eyed over him ever since then. Other boys just didn’t seem worth the time, but apparently Anthony had planted himself into her life with ease. He had a bit of a reputation which told her it should keep her on her toes, but at the same time he’d never pushed her farther than she wanted things to go, That had to say a lot about a guy, too.
Zoe went to the elevator, pushing the button, listening to the same elevator music and walked towards Anthony and Ethan’s apartment like it had become a routine over the last few weeks. She tried opening the door and was surprised when it worked but stepped inside quickly. The television was playing so he must’ve been in the living room. Zoe stepped out of her high heels and walked inside, smiling as she watched him lounging against the couch. After setting the pizza and movie on the coffee table she moved over to the couch, sitting on Anthony’s lower back before she reached for the remote. “Charlie Sheen is psycho,” she said, turning her head over to look at him finally and smiled. ”Hi,” she said sweetly before she leaned down to kiss his cheek. “ You okay? You seem stressed.” she said, turning so that she was sitting over his back. Zoe reached her hands up into her hair and put it up into a ponytail before she lowered them back down to his back and started to rub his shoulders.
