Ethan brought his hand up to scratch the edge of his nose with the back of his finger before he slowly licked the corner of his lips. As the sound of the weights hitting the floor echoed through the small gym he stood up slowly, stretching his arms out in front of himself as the sweat dripped over his shirtless chest . He took in a few deep breaths, trying to get his heart rate down before he looked up at the clock. It wasn’t like they had set deadline for when they were going to get some planning done, but he also didn’t want to keep her waiting. Ethan brought his hand up to his hair, shaking his hand through some of the sweat as he picked up a towel and made his way out of the gym and hurried up the stairs to go take a quick shower. Wedding planning was probably less fun when he smelled like a boys highschool locker room. Ethan grabbed his toothbrush, doing the pretty nasty guy thing by taking it into the shower with him so he could try and multitask. After hopping out of the shower he dried his body off quickly before pulling on a pair of boxers and basketball shorts. Ethan bit the edge of his lip, scratching the edge of his collar bone as he made his way down the stairs a few at a time and into the kitchen. He gave a small smile at Talia as she sat at the table eating cereal. Ethan opened the fridge before standing inside the door, stretching his arms out over his head before he yawned and reached in to take out the jug of orange juice. He twisted off the lid, starting to bring it to his lips before he looked over at Talia slowly and scrunched his nose before reaching up into the cabinet to grab a glass. Ethan reached in and grabbed the container of carrots that Claire had been yelling at him to eat before he shut the door with his foot and made his way to the table with his orange juice in hand and sat down across from her. “What exactly are we supposed to be planning today?” he asked as he looked up at her before biting into a carrot. He lifted his hip up slightly, taking his phone out of his shorts before he sent out a quick text to Anthony, wondering who his ‘plus one’ to the wedding was going to be this week. Ethan slid his phone onto the table before he looked up at Talia, chewing on the carrot slowly. He took in a deep breath before sighing. They had so much planning to do, it seemed like it was never going to end. But it’d be worth it. Though the last month he couldn’t shake the fact that it seemed like there were so many people that knew that his little sister had gotten married, and no one had cared to tell him? And what, now she was trying to convince Shane to have a second kid? Of course she would tell Talia. It was her best friend. And he was sure there was some code between girls that Talia felt obligated to keep. But he was her fiancé. Didn’t that count for something? It wasn’t like he had talked about it, opening up and expressing himself wasn’t exactly what he was known for.
