Taking one of your friends ex-wives out was pretty weird. But the fact of the matter was... Chace and Tori sort of knew each other really well already. He did date Kayla for a long time. She was Kayla's best friend. But still, here he was coming to Kayla's new apartment with Tyler probably hot on his heels to get there when Tori left. He stepped up to the door, taking in a quick breath before he knocked on the door. It opened quickly, with what looked like a slightly intoxicated Kayla standing behind it. " Ooooohh! Victoria, he dressed up. That's so cute," she said, causing Chace to roll his eyes. " Nice to see you," he said before giving a head not to Tori and tilting his head towards the hallway. He wondered if she thought it was weird to be going out with her best friends ex, too. He smiled as he looked down at her. The outfit would be perfect for where he was taking her. " You ready?" he said, nudging her gently before he stepped into the elevator. He knew he was over Kayla, and he knew Joel was head over heels with Libby. But he also knew there was a part of Joel that cared about Tori, did she feel the same way about him? He tried to not let the thoughts consume him as they stepped out of the elevator and out onto the street. It was close enough to walk. No, he did not get recognized as often as Joel. But he did. And the paparazzi would probably love the fact that he was spending the evening with Tori based on the entire messed up situation. So he smiled as he looked over at her, remembering what Joel had said about her not loving the flashing lights so much before he turned to head down some backstreets to get to the cantina. It was such a hole in the wall. When he pushed the door open, the sound of music blared from the entire building, making you question how it stayed such a secret. " You said you wanted quesadillas?" he questioned with a slight lift of his eyebrows as he walked further into the restaurant and grabbed them a table. Almost as soon as they sat at the small high top table a waitress was over, " Can we get a pitcher of margaritas, a couple of waters, and two orders of quesadillas, one chicken and one steak... thank you," he said as he smiled at her before looking over at Tori. She really was beautiful, he'd always thought so. But never in a million years did he think they'd actually be out, together.

Tori looked in the mirror at the borrowed clothes from Mikayla, turning to make sure she looked okay. She didn't know where Chace was taking her and honestly, she wasn't sure she cared where it was. She was just excited he was taking her out. Prom had been really fun, and honestly? She couldn't deny that she really liked him. At first she was worried that she was just on the rebound from Joel, but now... she didn't think that was it at all. She really liked Chace. He was really sweet, and fun to be around. She looked forward to hanging out with him when it was just the two of them. Tori came out to the living room and grabbed her purse, smiling at Chace and a slightly intoxicated Mikayla. Tori had had a few drinks too, not knowing she would have plans tonight. But that was okay. She kind of had that image of being slightly prim and proper, but really she was just polite. But right now she was feeling like... she was ready to let her hair down. Her drinks were starting to wear off, and she just wanted to go have fun. Tori said goodbye to Mikayla, and followed Chace to the elevator, who had asked if she was ready to go, "Of course," she smiled, waiting while the elevator descended. As they walked to wherever they were going, Tori felt like... things were different. She felt okay moving on, Chace made her feel new and happy and... she had to fight the urge to hold his hand. She really wanted to, but she felt like maybe it was soon. She didn't want Chace to feel like he was her rebound guy. Because by definition, he was, but he really wasn't. Either way, she wanted to be fair to him. He deserved to be treated fairly. She wanted him to know how she felt was really, so she knew she had to take it easy. As they went into the cantina, Tori grinned, looking around at everything that was going on. She loved mexican food, and she loved dancing. how perfect. She sat down, setting her bag down, nodding, "Yes, quesadillas please," she laughed, and let Chace order. Tori rested her elbow on the table and her chin in her hand, watching him and smiling, her lightly curled hair falling over her shoulder, "Thanks for taking me out tonight," she said, "So what do you have planned for yourself, college, working...?" she questioned, unable to keep the smile off her face.

Chace looked up, offering a smile as she thanked him for taking her out tonight. " Yeah, anytime," he said, bringing his lips into a side smirk before he looked over at the dance floor. Chace lift his eyebrows and leaned closer to Tori to hear her as she spoke. What did he have next? " Well I'm actually doing a show on ABC family about foster homes.. and uh, I'm choreographing for artists at Taboo right now. I was thinking maybe when something slows down I would go to school.. I just... I don't think it's in my cards right now, you know? I definitely want to do it someday, I just feel like I have to take advantage of opportunities while I have them. College will always be there and I don't want to waste anything while it's at my feet. I'm not... Dani Cooper or.. even Jake. I won't last in the 'media' business the way they will. I don't think I'm exactly marketable enough," he said before giving a small shrug of his shoulder. That was fine. He liked dancing better anyways. So much to the point that when Zoe had been talking to him about giving Gabe a call, he sort of was considering it. It might be kind of cool to have a company of some sort. " What about you, how's school going?" he asked with a smile as the pitcher of margaritas got set down. He tried to listen to what she was going to say while he poured them each a margarita, placing one in front of Tori. " What are you wanting to major in?" he questioned before he brought the margarita to his lips, looking over his shoulder at the dance floor again. He was definitely going to get her out there tonight.
