Blake tapped the plastic spoon against her lips as she looked down at the screen in front of her. Her assistant was scrolling through different looks she'd had. Most of the videos had been done. Blank Space, Shake It Off, Bad Blood, Style, Out of the Woods.... but the only one she had to finish up was Wildest Dreams. Since Logan was already planning a trip to Africa to see what Madeline and Ryan were up to, Blake figured that was the perfect spot for them to be for the video shoot. However, Madeline and Ryan were about an hour outside of the city, Logan had been kind enough to make the drive out there to see the schools they were working on. But it had been the last day, and Blake was finally able to get rid of the brunette wig. She wasn't sure that Logan was all that fond of it. But while he was gone, she felt like she needed a change. Since it had been a while since all three of the guys (Shane, Logan and Ryan) were in the same room, Shane had come along, too. Which at this point, felt like a natural progression for she and Shane's relationship. She felt a certain kinship to him that she couldn't explain. He was gross and grungy. She wasn't sure he took a shower every day. But for some reason, without any hesitance she knew she loved him with every fiber of her soul. "What about that one?" Blake said as she turned the computer to show Shane. Maybe Logan would like a hairstyle change. She set the spoon back in the cup, deciding based on Shane's reaction that was the one. Frozen yogurt wasn't this huge deal that Blake could remember when she was in school. It seemed like it was everywhere now. At first, she had stuck to making herself strawberry cheesecake versions, not ever wanting to seem like she was a kid in the candy store. But one day Shane took over, telling her just to trust them. And since that day she had been obsessed with the watermelon sorbet combined with fruity pebbles, nerds and jolly ranchers. Sometimes he would even throw sour patch kids or sour gummy worms on there. It was all so wild in her eyes.. But anyhow, she turned to the hair stylist. "Can I get hair extensions to get this look back?" she said, gesturing to a photo from her 22 music video. Blake looked down at her watch, wondering if she would have enough time before Logan got back to the hotel. It'd be cutting it close.
"I just feel like. I want to write something.. you know? Like maybe we can re-release it as a deluxe album. But I don't... I just want to write a song that I recognize for this album," she said, shuffling some of the papers around. If there was one type of song she was apparently known for it was break up songs. But when it came to songs that she undoubtedly loved writing - it was for her 'squad'. That's what she was calling it now, right? She looked at Shane. ".... Are you my squad..." she asked, making a slight face. "At any rate," she said, gesturing it as though it didn't matter. Blake took out an iPad, scribbling notes on a piece of paper alongside it as she began to work on a new song. Every now and then she would play something for Shane, get what his interpretation of it might be. By the time the stylist was done with her hair, Blake had finished the demo for New Romantics with Shane's help. She leaned over in her seat, putting her hand up for a high five to Shane. Logan came into the room, his cell attached to his ear as Blake waited for him to get off the phone. She lift her eyebrows at him, smiling when he turned to do a double take. "Shane said you liked this one," she said, gesturing to her hair. That felt so weird to say. She didn't know what her own husband liked. Whoa... that was still weird to say. Logan Renner. Husband. But she couldn't help but smile all the same. "Hi honey. How was work?" she asked, moving toward him so that she could wrap her arms around his neck and give him a quick kiss. They'd spent so much time trying to 'regain' her memories, morph her back into the same star she had been before the accident. That sometimes in these moments, she was just happy to give Logan some sense of normalcy. Blake looked down at the phone in Logan's hand as it rang before she took it, "He's going to have to call you back," she said, hanging up the phone before turning it off and giving him a pointed look. "Madeline's mom and dad said that they would watch the kids so we could all have a night out." she said, smiling slowly. "And Shane and I wrote a new song," she said, bouncing her shoulders excitedly. Blake went over to the iPad, pulling up the demo that her and Shane had worked on. She handed Shane a cord as he set it up to a pair of speakers, blaring it up. Blake shook her head back and forth, letting her longer hair get tousled and messy before she took Shane's hand and started dancing.
