● CURTIS FIELDS ● Curtis loved Central Park. The people, the scenery and the relaxing memories he had here. It was the perfect amount of serenity in the bustling city of new york. He had texted his best friend Faith earlier in the day out of boredom and they had decided to meet here. He sauntered towards their meeting spot, which was nothing really special, just a bench where they had carved their names into when they were kids. One of his first memories in the park were playing tag with Faith, running around the trees while their parents visited nearby. They were only about 8 years old then, but even that young Curtis knew there was something about her that was special.
As they grew older Curtis realized he wasn't the only one who saw that light in Faith. She seemed to have a natural spark that attracted everyone to her. Her outgoing personality and bright smile was so inviting she was almost instantly friends with everyone she met. Curtis craved that, since he was more introverted it was always tougher for him to make friends. Once people got to know him though, he became more outgoing and easy to be around. Luckily Faith always made sure people got to know him past the awkward, shy part.
As he reached the bench he started thinking about when he first realized he liked her as more than a friend. Curt couldn't quite put his finger on a specific time or moment when he realized it, but he knew that when he did things changed. He began to really appreciate the way her hair flowed, the way she smelt and well, just things a bestfriend shouldn't pay attention to. He tried to hide it, and he was pretty sure he was doing a good job.Playful flirting is all that went on between them, and Curtis wasn't sure if he wanted it to go beyond that. He caught the smell of a nearby hot dog stand as he took a seat on their bench, and decided to stop dwelling on the future and just wait for his gorgeous best friend to show up.

Faith fixed up her hair and grabbed her shoes. She was on the way to meet up with Curtis at Central Park. She needed this time to get out of the house. She had been filling out applications for scholarships for the past two days. It was crazy how much college actually cost. Her and her sisters were in the same boat. Their parents had told them that they were to cover their first years in college and if they could, then the next 3 years would be paid by their parents. Faith was going to work her ass off if she had to, paying one year was better than paying all four years. Faith took one last look at herself in the mirror before she headed out of her room. It didn't really matter what she looked like. She could go see Curtis in her sweatpants and he hair a mess with no make-up., he didn't care. But she did. Faith always cared about what she looked like, even if she was just going to be with her friends. Faith always needed to look good. As she was driving along, she thought about Curtis. He was her best friend, he was always there for here when she needed him and he would always be there. Faith loved him, but not in a romantic way. She knee Curtis loved her as more than a best friend, but she didn't know if he knew that or not. She pulled into a parking space and shut off her car. Faith fixed up her makeup one last time before she got out. Locking the car, Faith walked into the park, looking around for Curtis. He was probably in their normal meeting spot. Faith said hi to a few people that walked by her with a smile. Just the she saw Curtis sitting on the bench, she smiled again and headed towards him. "Hey there."she said as she got to him. Faith smelled hot dogs and looked around, spotting a hot dog cart. "Come on," she said as she grabbed his hand and pulled him up, "I'm starving."OUTFIT: click.

● CURTIS FIELDS ● Curtis hadn’t become conscious of how starving he was until he heard his stomach growling. All he had eaten all day was an apple and since it was already late afternoon there was no mystery why he was hungry. Curt loved food, but almost ironically, he often forgot to eat. It was probably a blessing though, since he had a thing for junk food if he remembered every meal his toned body would be transformed into a marshmallow by now. He shook his head and tried to get his mind off food, since that wasn’t exactly quieting down his grumbling stomach.
Curtis didn’t realize he was staring at the hog dogs spinning round and round on the nearby cart until he heard Faiths voice greeting him. He directed his attention towards her, letting a smile appear on his face. Faith was gorgeous, there were no if, ands, or buts about it. She was wearing a red dress that would make any guy within a mile stop and drool. “Hey there cutie” he said with a wink at his oldest friend. Curt was always reminded by her beauty that he wished she was his, but he was used to pushing his feeling about her deep down so that’s exactly what he did. After she had gotten out of her awkward phase back in middle school, there was no looking back. Curt almost lost her in the gaggle of guys who were constantly swooning over her until the end of high school, but luckily for him Faith was loyal to her friends and would never leave him behind.
Letting Faith grab his hand and lead him off the bench he smiled, realizing where she was taking him. He squeezed her hand and smiled down at her,”I swear you can read my mind sometimes, I’m starving too”. Curt let out a laugh as he ordered them each a hot dog and a pop and passed the money to the vendor. Squeezing a fine line of ketchup on his dog, Curt turned to Faith, “So Faithy, any big plans for the weekend? Any boys I need to beat up?” he finished with a smirk. Since he still wasn’t sure if he ever wanted to jeopardize their friendship by trying to make it more than that, he enjoyed his role as the protective friend. Thankfully he hadn’t actually had to physically beat up any guys, Faith was pretty good at spotting the weirdos and staying well away from them. He led them back to their bench, and opened up his Dr. Pepper while waiting for her response with a coy smile.

Faith smiled up at Curtis as he gave her a friendly hand squeeze. "Well I wouldn't be your best friend if I didn't know what was on your mind all the time. " she smiled up at him again. Curtis was the only guy that Faith could really be herself around. He knew exactly who she was and that was one thing Faith loved about Curtis. Curtis ordered and paid for both of their orders. Faith smiled, "Thank you love." She put some ketchup on her hot dog and then handed it to Curtis. She put some mustard on and then grabbed a napkin. Curtis asked if he had to beat anyone up this weekend and Faith just laughed. Curtis had always been that protective best friends, and Faith really didn't mind it. Faith grabbed a straw and then headed back to the bench with Curtis. "I don't really have anything planned. Just more college stuff I guess." Faith opened her Dr. Pepper and put the straw in and took a sip. "And no Curt, no boys you need to beat up." she looked over at him and smiled. She took a bite of her hot dog and sighed, it was delicious. Faith took another sip of her drink and then spoke, "What about you? Any girls that need to be put in their place?" if Curtis was going to be protective, Faith was too. OUTFIT: click.NOTES:im sorry. its not that good of a post
