I don’t know about you guys, but I just finished enjoying the annual Victoria’s Secret Runway Show, and let me just say first of all, it was definitely worth watching! Lucky for me, I was able to watch in person rather than on my TV screen, and of course all the Angels looked fabulous. Did we expect anything less? This year’s show was accompanied by live performances from Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj and New York’s own Joel Foster. While Maroon 5 and Nicki Minaj are complete crowd pleasers and make awesome choice’s for a runway walk, I have to admit it was totally endearing to see siblings Madeline and Joel Foster share a stage. Yes I know I left off the O’Callaghan, but she was all Foster tonight. It’s fun to see siblings who so obviously didn’t mind sharing the spotlight for one evening.
Walking in the show were Madeline Foster, Rosie Madison, Hillary Jones, and Audrey Fraitus, among others. How cool is it though, that half the models are from right here in the city. Who knows, it’s like seeing a good friend up there isn’t it? Well it would be for the music industry’s power couple Logan and Blake Renner who were present at the show, all smiles and enjoying seeing so many close friends doing what they love. Also present and sitting in close quarters was America’s favorite heiresses, Mackenzie Bannon, Kiersten Bannon, and Mandi Collins. It’s no wonder those three showed up together, they all love to buy clothes. And by surprise to some, Tiffany DiNozzo was also seen with fellow fashion student, Hope Drake, looking happy and enjoying herself as she should, considering recent events. And Stefan Thomas was there to watch girlfriend Hillary.
After the Madeline Foster took the stage for the opening of the show, Joel Foster took the stage, singing his hit ‘Love Me’ and being adorably playful with sister Madeline and kissing one Rosie Madison as she made her walk! But let’s face it, he couldn’t keep his eyes off of any of the girls, and it looked like Logan Renner is gonna have his hands full with this rising star! Not to mention he was calling them all Senorita, ha!
Following Joel was a performance by Maroon 5 with ‘Moves Like Jagger’. How cute was Adam and Anne? Pretty freakin’ cute, I would say! The performances that followed were just as exciting, with Nicki Minaj performing ‘Super Bass’ and Kanye West and Jay-Z performing a song I’m sorry to say I didn’t recognize... And just when we thought the show was just about finished…
Apparently everyone has surprises up their sleeves. What everyone expected as the finale brought us Madeline, taking center stage, looking amazing, as always, when the ever so familiar tune came through the speakers and she gestured to someone off stage to join her. Clearly Ryan O’Neil, lead singer of The Maine, had no intentions of making a performance this evening but when he was basically thrust on stage with a microphone and being lured on by one very persuasive Angel! How could he say no to that? So of course he had no other choice but to take her hand and walk the length of the runway with her while he sang his rendition of ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’. And just when I thought those too weren’t as close as they used to be, Mr. O’Neil stole an Angel kiss right on Madeline’s cheek! You can say the crowd went a little crazy.
The final designs of the night were completely amazing, (ahem, did you see Audrey dressed as a dark angel??? Amazing designers!) Rosie Madison tried to get a small smile out of Congressman O’Callaghan, but I guess I can see why he was acting like a stiff when his wife made a return walk to help Ryan close the show and laid a kiss on him! Right on his handsome cheek! And Madeline then proceeded to drag him out for the final walk with him, apparently just because she can!
The show was amazing, the designs flawless, the models gorgeous as always… but it didn’t stop there! Backstage after the show was none other than Ethan Fox who had brought Ryan with him. (In case you didn’t know, Ethan is starring in up coming film, ‘The Last Song’ with girlfriend Natalia Richmond.) However, Natalia was no where to be seen and, when asked which angel he was there to see, he answered that he was there to see Rosie Madison! After a short pause he added he was also there to see Madeline Foster, but the reporters didn’t miss the opportunity to ask if maybe his relationship with Natalia was on the rocks? But Ethan didn’t haven’t have a response for that, which he promptly left, though without much to say to friend Rosie before he left…
Either way, the show was amazing to say the least, and I think it’s safe to say Ryan and Madeline were acting much more friendlier toward each other after the show then recently. And Stefan could not keep his eyes off Hillary! Needless to say, I cannot wait to see next year’s show, leave your comments below!
