**Dated For 4/16/2012**
Rosie tossed the phone down on her bed, sighing, and then picked up the coral dress laying there, eyeing it tentatively. Tempting, she did like it, and did think she looked good in it. But Ethan had also said, 'wear the coral one, it'll be pretty on you.' So really he was just confirming what she was hoping herself, but he wasn't the one she wanted to hear it from. No, that wasn't right. Of course she wanted to hear that from him, that's what she always wanted to hear from him. Hell, she'd take any compliment from Ethan, she was practically starving for his damn attention. What did she have to do, put up a big sign in lights that said, 'Hey Ethan, I'm totally in love with you'? How much obvious did she need to be? She slept with him, twice now. There wasn't much else she could do to show her affection for the guy. Other than just tell him straight up, because maybe he really was just not catching on. But it wasn't as if she'd stuck him in the friend zone, she'd told him from day one she thought he was just her type. If he didn't get the message that she as interested, would he ever? Was it just because he just wasn't interested? He'd put her in the friend zone. That was the trouble. So now, she was standing in her room, getting all prettied up for Tyson, mulling over how attached she still was to the idea of Ethan. Frustrating to no end. But it would end, she was over it. Over trying to force something that wasn't going to happen. Ethan was her friend, she loved him to death, she wanted him in her life. If that's all she got, she would take it. It was time to just get in that mind frame and move along to other guys. Like Tyson.
Tyson had a bad reputation for being an asshole, but Rosie didn't see it. Okay, yes she did technically see it, but he was never an asshole to her. On the contrary, he'd actually been extremely sweet to her as of late. She could honestly say if asked that she wasn't dating Tyson just to get over Ethan, she genuinely like Tyson, and genuinely thought he was a decent guy. He was a decent guy, people just had a difficult time getting beyond his rough exterior. Rosie took her hair down from the bun on her head, letting it fall in waves and deciding to let it be. She slipped on her dress, put on a little extra mascara and called it good, deciding she looked presentable. She picked her phone back up, seeing everyone was mostly signing off and told Meredith she'd talk to her tomorrow for sure. She signed out herself, stuffing her phone in her purse and perfect timing, heard a knock on her door. She headed for the hall, shutting off lights as she went, checking herself in the mirror by the door one last time before opening the door. Tyson was waiting, looking nice himself and smiling at her. "Hey," she said, grinning before she turned off the hall light and shut the door behind her and locked it, heading to the elevator behind him. "So you have some sort of surprise planned then? You know I love surprises..." Who didn't know she loved surprises?
