[Natalia] Can't Be Tamed

Collin turned his neck to the side, letting it pop as roughly as he could. Just got off the plane from shooting some stuff for Kat’s music video Toes, and now he was already on set for Can’t Be Tamed. Though to be fair, he’d been working on the one for the last few days. While he was on set with Kat he was calling New York, making sure everything was set up and ready to go for Natalia when he got back. He brought his energy drink to his lips, chugging about half of it before he turned and set it down. ‘ Here are the mock images for you to approve’ one of the assistants said as she ran up to him, holding out a clipboard. He narrowed his eyebrows as he took it, looking down at before he nodded, “ This should’ve been finished a week ago,” he said, too tired to scold anyone and just feeling restless. ‘ I can go get miss Richmond from her trailer,’ one of the girls said eagerly. He shook his head, “ That’s alright I got it” he said. Ordinarily he would’ve nodded, focusing his attention on the small details of the shoot. But seeing as how he was dressing his girlfriend up as a sexy bird… maybe he should suck up to her a little bit until she could see the final result and not hate his guts. It was sort of a blessing the way their relationship turned out. At work they could work and be professional,.. in their private lives, that was well.. private. Claire still stared at him like he was an alien. She’d get past that, he didn’t really understand her and Anthony’s relationship entirely either which was pretty awkward for him since he was close with Shane.

Collin went to knock on the door, just as the hair stylist was stepping out. “ All Snookied?” he said sarcastically before she gave a small laugh, which made Collin smile as he stepped inside. Well they had teased her bangs a bit. “ Hey…” he said tiredly, happy to see her for the first time in about a week or so. He loved being on the road with the artists, but he hated being away from her. Skype conversations and late night phone calls just didn’t cut it. “ You look great.. you ready?” he asked, as he looked down at her outfit. He would give her a kiss but he would hate to make the make up staff come back and redo all of their hard work. ‘ So.. is the sexual tension between you two always this weird? Because I could cut between this with a knife.. “ a voice said from the back of the trailer. Collin looked away from Natalia and over at Claire, “ Oh you have company,” he said, giving a small nod. Collin reached down and adjusted the volume on his headset before he clipped it on the back of his jeans. Claire looked between the two of them awkwardly before she sat up and tried as best as she could to awkwardly squeeze past Collin with that belly of hers. Once she stepped outside and made her way over to the snack table to get a bottle of water Collin looked over at Natalia and smiled. “ …We’re not that awkward…” he said, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. That was harmless enough for the make up crew, before he turned and headed out of the trailer to head over to set.

Outfit

Natalia sat there, staring at herself in the mirror as the stylist finished up her hair. It was done up all crazy like. Natalia played with the tie on her robe as she looked down in her lap. Her outfit took some time getting into. There were so many straps and ties, it was hectic. She had to admit though, the outfit wasn't what she expected it to be. She actually though she would look like a bird. She saw sketches of some of her dancers and they actually had beaks and what not. She was just glad she didn't have to look like that. Natalia's phone stated ringing and she looked to the stylist, "Can you please grab that for me?" She took the phone from her and answered it. "Hey Daddy. I'm good. Just on set for "Can't Be Tamed". How are you......Really?! That's great. When are y'all coming back?...Oh, you're not? What about th....Yes sir...Love you too." Natalia hung up the phone and looked at Claire through the mirror, "They're staying in LA, can you believe it? Just like that." Natalia shook her head lightly and then let the stylist finish up her work. "Those two are a piece of work I tell you." How would she keep that giant house all by herself? She had Floyd, Lola and Ziggy, but they weren't company enough. That house got lonely. Of course she had the maid, the cooks and the maintenance people, she guessed they could be company enough. They all had their own living quarters on the property though. That house was extremely lonely at night. "There, done." the stylist said and Natalia smiled, "Beautiful."

As the stylist was leaving, Natalia stood up, undid the robe and let it slide off. She turned to face Claire and flapped her arms lightly as if she were flapping wings. She still couldn't believe that Collin had her and her dancers dressed up as birds. She could only imagine what the set looked like.Natalia had faith in Collin, that's the only reason she agreed to dressing up as a bird. He wouldn't allow her to look like a fool or have her video be idiotic. He knew what he was doing when it came to these things. She had eavesdropped on a few conversations this morning when she had first got there and people were talking about how intricate this was going to be. Natalia looked forward to getting out there and actually doing it. Just then Collin came in and she smiled to him, "Hey. You look exhausted." she moved away from the mirror, "Yeah, I am. As ready as I'll ever be." Natalia looked away from Collin as Claire spoke and then back to him, "Yeah, I asked Claire to come out here with us. Hope you don't mind." Natalia watched Claire make her way out of the trailer and smiled. She was such a cute pregnant girl. Natalia laughed when Collin said they weren't awkward. "No, not at all." she returned the kiss on his cheek, careful not to smudge anything and then made her way to set behind him. She saw her dancers standing around and she smiled as they all turned to face her. "I'm a bird, caaw caaaw!" she said as she flapped her arms and made her way over to them. A bunch of them flapped as well and made bird noises back to her. Oh how she loved them. Natalia looked over their outfits, "Y'all look great!"
