Dan was sick of Meredith not taking him serious. What because he had a few good movie roles under his belt, suddenly he wasn't believable when he said he liked her? That was total bullshit. It sounded more like she was just scared of he didn't know what. He was not a scary person. And if she just wasn't sure about relationship stuff, well neither was he, because honestly, how many had he been in recently. He was about as new to this as she was, minus the fact that he wasn't a virgin, but she wasn't some girl he wanted to just hit it and quit it so he could wait if she wanted or. Or not wait if she didn't want to. What he wasn't sitting around waiting for was for her to start believing his words, because obviously she didn't take any of them seriously at all. This was about to become more of, stop talking and start acting on whatever it was that he was feeling. he was about through with her diminishing how he felt about her. He liked her, a lot, and he intended to make sure she knew that. Today. This was getting just silly.
Dan had signed off his computer, annoyed and frustrated, throwing on a pair of shoes and left the apartment. He was not going to sit around behind hid computer trying to convince her. he was just going to go over to her place, walk in and make her believe him. Somehow. Dan decided against getting a cab because he was too frustrated to sit down so he walked the entire distance to her building, or rather, power walking/stomping annoyed. Dan waved to the door man, walking past him and took the stairs, stomping up every step until he reached her floor, a little out of breath but made it down the hallway to her door before he knocked loudly three times. After waiting a short moment that felt like forever, Dan opened the door himself, slamming it himself and heading through her apartment, looking for her. "Meredith." He said loudly, finding her sitting with her computer and pointed at her, "You." he said walking over to her where she had stood up like, what the fuck dude? "For the last time, and don't make me say it again because I seriously mean it, I. Like. You. Do I need to spell it out for you?" Dan shook his head, thinking fuck it, stepping in front of her and taking her face in both his hands, leaned in to kiss her. Peeta hadn't kissed Katniss like that. After her kissed her, he stopped, worried she did not think that was okay to do that. But she kind of drove him to it, right?
