Roxy took the lid off of her coffee cup hoping that the cool air out would cool it off so she could actually drink it. Thanksgiving morning was getting pretty ridiculous, and though she was on her way to meet up with her family she had actually gotten up early to go study at the library with one of her girlfriends, whom she actually had her arm looped through with at the moment as she was walking. “ The streets are blocked..again..” Cari said out of annoyance. “ Are you fucking kidding me?” Roxy said, looking up finally at the signs that were up. Movie filming. Awesome. Roxy licked her lips, looking around at the back-up it was causing; not just with people driving on the street, but most people in New York walked and at this moment she felt like a sardine. Roxy adjusted her messenger bag from school over her shoulder before she looked at Cari and tilted her head. “ Come on, I am so fucking sick of this,” she said as she started to walk with determination. Seriously who the hell filmed on a holiday? She stood on her toes, trying to see what the movie even was, but she stopped doing a double take at a guy who was leaning down, looking at sheets of paper that some shorter guy next to him was holding. She recognized him. Roxy clenched her jaw in annoyance before she brought her fingers to her lips and did a whistle loud enough to get his attention as she headed over towards him. When she approached him, she lifted her eyebrow at him in annoyance, loudly questioning, “ What the fuck is this?” as though she had known him her whole life. Roxy held her cup of coffee up to the side to point to the filming as though to illustrate her point. “It’s Thanksgiving, bro.. people are trying to get home to their families. And quite frankly you’re being a pain in the ass.” she said in frustration. “ What kind of pompous, narcissistic, selfish, jackass would just think it was okay to do something like this? I’m so sick of you actors thinking that the little people don’t fucking matter. And then what.. after this you get touched up by make up and carry on the rest of your day forgetting that some lowly girl ever spoke to you. It’s pathetic. Get your head out of your ass, get to the real world and realize that what you’re causing here.. is fucking annoying. Go to school and get a real job,” she said before she started to turn away. But instantly she turned back around and lifted her finger away from her coffee cup to point at him since her other hand was holding onto the strap of her book bag. “ And this movie is probably shit. Like that disaster you did with Sandra Bullock. What the actual fuck was that. I want my money back. And the time I wasted. And the brain cells. Seriously did you get some part of someone’s soul or some secret fairy ninja powers to sign on to that piece of shit? Don’t you have people telling you what career choices to make and which ones are good and which ones aren’t? Or do they have their head up your ass too?” Outfit

Michael ran his hand through his hair as he walked off the set and over to Steven, one of the writers. “Alright, so we’re changing the next scene? She’s coming out first now?” He hated when they changed things right before they were going to happen. Have this shit together. “Yes, that’s exactly right. After Terry says ‘What is this place?’ you come out from left with…” “Who’s the broad?’ Yeah I got it.” Michael shook his head and then looked to his left when he heard a whistle. There was a girl power walking towards him, she looked pissed off. He looked down to Steven and he shrugged and motioned for security to come over but Michael waved them off. He took a few steps to meet up with her, thinking she was going to ask him for a picture or an autograph or something. It went in the totally opposite direction though. She definitely was pissed off. He could hear the annoyance in her voice, it matched the look on her face. “Uh, it’s a movie set..” he said as he looked around and then back down at the girl in front of him. She was blaming him for this? Like he had any say in when filming was. They told him when to show up, he didn’t ask questions or have any objections. When the girl was done talking, Michael let everything he just heard sink in and made sure he heard it all right. He sighed and then looked at her, “Look I have no say when or where we film. If I did, I wouldn’t have started filming until next week. I would love to be with my family right now, but here I am. It’s what they want,” he said as he pointed to the newly formed group about 15 feet away from them, Steven now joining them as well. Michael folded his arms loosely against his chest, holding onto his elbows as he brought his attention back to the girl. “So my apologies for the inconvenience it caused you and your friend back there.” he nodded towards the girl standing awkwardly behind the dark haired girl standing in front of him. He smiled to her and then reached for his wallet, “Here I’ll tell ya what. I’ll give you the money back for the movie. Even though I think it was a hit. And so don’t the movie critics, but they don’t matter I guess..” Michael brought his wallet to the front of him and then opened it, looking through the bills. “Movie tickets are about $10, right, so $20 for two. Popcorn and drinks another $10. I’ll say dinner was about $30. And I’ll throw in $30 for cab fare or gas or whatever.” Micheal pulled out a $100 bill, folded his wallet and put it back in his back pocket and looked at the girl, holding the bill out for her to take. “This OK for you?” he asked with a smile. Normally he would’ve ignored people like this, but there was something about this girl, something was drawing him in to talk to her. outfit

Roxy made a ‘no shit’ face at him as he explained that it was a movie set. She scoffed at him as he told her that he had no say. “ You have no say? That is such complete bullshit. Now you’re going to tell me that you’re the victim? Are you fucking kidding me? You are not a victim here. You just got voted Sexiest Man Alive,” she said, stopping herself slightly since she didn’t want to come off like she knew much about him. Really, she didn’t. She’d seen A-Team… okay that was hot, Limitless, and that shitty Sandra Bullock movie. The sad thing about that wasn’t that his acting in it didn’t even suck. His acting was fine, the movie was shitty. “ The critics?... Really, the critics? So when you get up on stage to accept an award for doing a job that you “ love so much” why don’t you thank the critics instead of the fans. And if you’re doing it for love so much why don’t you take a pay cut and try giving some of that money to people that are actually in need,” she said, but she cut herself short because almost instantly he was taking his wallet out and handing over money. She blinked as he handed over nearly a hundred dollars. “ Are you serious right now?” she asked, half offended and half impressed. And though Roxy herself sort of figured she might try to come off as a bad ass, she knew exactly what she was going to do with that money. It was going towards the nearest homeless shelter. It was Thanksgiving, people needed food. But just like Roxy.. every good deed she did, she would never mention it. Besides, it could be done in his name, it was his money after all, she was just dropping it off. So really she wasn’t doing anything great.
“ Fine,” Roxy said, reaching up to take the money from him, ignoring her friend that was behind her completely. She was a big girl, if she was uncomfortable she could leave. Roxy folded it up and placed it in her back pocket before she looked at the group of people that had accumulated a distance away from her and Michael. Well that was weird, knowing his name but he didn’t know hers. Though why would he, she was insulting everything about him. “ Don’t act like you don’t have any control here,” she said, looking away from the group before she brought her eyes back to Michael’s. Wow those were blue. A lot more blue than you could tell on the movie screens. She cleared her throat, licking the inside of her lips before she sighed, “ Whatever, sorry I yelled at you… if they’re the assholes that are responsible for this..then..” she started off, taking a small pause before she took her hand away from the strap of her bag and flipped the group of men off before smiling sarcastically at them. After a moment she dropped her hand and looked back at him. “ You’re an adult…. I’m guessing. If you don’t want to be here, don’t. If you don’t want to spend your Thanksgiving with these people, find someone you do want to with.”

Michael laughed as the girl flipped the group off. Wow, this girl was something else. He shook his head still laughing. "You don't need to apologize. I get it, this can get annoying, but this is my job. Just like the construction workers that block off roads for days to get their jobs done. I'm just trying to live my life just like everyone else." he cleared his throat and smiled again. "Michael.." he heard Steven call out. "Yeah, give me one second." he said as he looked at them. "We need to move on." "One second." he looked back in front of him. "About that sexiest man alive thing, I don't see it. I mean I was up against Ryan Gosling.. he gave a 'come on now' face, "And actually, I did go to school. I majored in English at Georgetown. Graduated with honors too. Then I moved here for the Fine Arts program. So, I know the real world. I got just lucky enough to have my dreams come true." Michael smiled down to her again, noticing the bag. "What do you go to school for?" She had to be a college student here in New York. She didn't look young enough to be in high school, but at the same time, she didn't look to be around his age yet.
"I didn't get your name.." he said as he held out his hand. He knew she knew who he was, but he was going to act like she didn't and introduce himself. "I'm Michael, but you can call me Mike." Only his friends called him Mike. This girl just made him want to keep talking to her. He wanted to know her name. He wanted to be able to give a name to the people he talked to about her later. Not just that dark haired girl that cussed him out. Who knew, maybe he'd even see this girl again and he'd be able to address her by name. Michael cleared his throat one more time as he put his left hand in his jacket pocket. He brought his right hand up behind his hand to run his fingers through his hair as he asked the next question, "This is probably a crazy idea, but would you like to get lunch together sometime or coffee?" he put his right hand in the other pocket and shrugged, smiling.

Roxy narrowed her eyes slightly as he compared his job to that of a construction worker, who would be holding the roads up doing their job. Kind of a fair point to make but she wasn’t really in the mood to hear logic. She watched him as the crew yelled at him to come over, but instead he stayed there talking to her. Roxy took in a breath, looking away from the crew and back at Michael as he started explaining the sexiest man alive thing. Plus when he pointed out the thing about Ryan Gosling she nodded like it clicked. She knew he was gay. His hair was too perfect on tv stuff she saw him on. And just incase that wasn’t a big enough slice of humble pie this Thanksgiving he proceeded to tell her how he graduated with honors from Georgetown with an English degree before coming here for his graduate. Slap her in the face with that. “ Hm,” Roxy said, trying to not sound too impressed as she reached her arm out to the side and threw her coffee away before crossing her arms loosely against her body. When he asked what she went to school for, she debated whether or not she wanted to go down this road, let her walls down and stop being mad for just a second. But it was Thanksgiving, right? Roxy sighed like she was annoyed with herself before taking in a deep breath and forcing a polite smile at him.
“ I’m a Psychology major at Columbia,” she said before biting the edge of her tongue. “ Roxanne.. Roxy” she said, slowly lowering her arms from the way they were crossed and held her hand out to shake his. “ … Yeah I’ll call you Michael. You’re not a twelve year old boy or a series regular on Jersey Shore,” she said , making a slight face. Besides, she’d never see him again after this, why did it really matter. She watched him as he cleared his throat, fidgeting with his hands between placing them in his pocket and then running it through his hair. She lifted her eyebrow instead as she watched him, crossing her own arms back against her body. “ That is a crazy idea,” she agreed with him, nodding slowly as she spoke. She looked over his shoulder at the crew before she brought her eyes back to him. “ Sure. On one condition,” she said before smiling sweetly up at him. “ We leave now,” she said, before giving a smirk. They were already mad at him for talking to her, there wasn’t a shot in hell that he was going to just walk off set.

"Roxy..." he said with a smile. "Nice to meet you." He let go of her hand, "Psychology, so are you going to try and get inside of my head? It's not a fun place to be, just giving you a heads up." He winked and then smiled again. It was nice to loosen up. He was always so uptight and serious on set. Thing shad to get done and get done right, but right now he was just himself relaxed. Roxy had agreed to go out with him, but it had to be right now. Right now? Why right now? Damn it. "Right now?" Michael asked as he brought his left hand across his body, holding his right one up as he put his hand over his mouth lightly and just shook his head smiling. "Right now huh..?" he asked once more as he crossed his arms in front of his body. He sighed and then turned to the group. "Bill, when's lunch?" "Tony wanted to get this next scene in first..." "I'm gonna take it now." "Thank God, I'm starving." "You're always hungry." Steven said with annoyance. "Alright, go. You have an hour. Don't make us come find you." Michael laughed, "Don't worry." he looked back to Roxy smiling, "Looks like it's our lucky day."
This was absolutely crazy. He was leaving the set to go somewhere with this girl he had just met. Not to mention she was cussing him out like 10 minutes earlier. "Looks like your friend left." he said as they began walking. He zipped up his jacket and put his hands in his pockets as they walked along. "So, where are we off to?" he was leaving the place up to her. She had agreed to go with him, so she could decide. She could have said no. Maybe that's what it was about her. She wasn't just melting in his presence. She was acting like she didn't give a shit who he was. He wasn't used to that. He liked it.

“ Did you just wink at me?” she asked, blinking at him as she stared up at him. “ Don’t do that,” she said with a shake of her head. But as he ran his hand over his mouth, she wished he hadn’t. That was the thing he should be flaunting. He had a nice smile, even if she wouldn’t tell him so right away. Maybe eventually. She watched as he yelled over to the crew, asking about lunch. An hour? She mentally scoffed in her head. Yeah, okay. We’ll see. She smiled again at the crew before offering a small wave and then looked at him, “ Thanks Bill.. Happy Thanksgiving,” she said .. only slightly sarcastically. “ Sure?” she asked questioningly, lifting a slight eyebrow at him as she started walking. But she smiled as he zipped up his jacket, when she hadn’t even worn one. “ You kind of are spoiled,” she said, looking in his direction before she moved her hair from her face and kept walking down the street. “ Where are we going? It’s Thanksgiving. I have to make a pumpkin pie for my mom before I bring it over to her place,” she said, placing her hands in her back pockets as they walked down the streets. Roxy bit the inside of her lip roughly as she noticed just how many people were taking notice of him just walking down the street now. She didn’t like it, at all. In fact it sort of creeped her out. “ Do people watch you like this all the time?” she asked as she looked over at him, “ I mean I don’t know what kind of girls you usually hang out with but I don’t want my face in a magazine just because we’re walking down the street… Or guys, I mean whatever. Go Ryan Gosling.” she said carelessly as she placed her hands in her back pockets as she walked.
Roxy turned up to the steps into the building for her apartment, which honestly wasn’t that far away from where shooting of the movie was anyways, which was part of the problem it annoyed her. She’d have to deal with it for weeks or until they finally decided they were over. If he was in it, it was probably an action movie of some sort, which meant being on the streets of New York longer than inside the buildings. “ Hey Tommy, are you still taking that box of canned foods down to the shelter?” she asked the doorman, who was staring at Michael for a second before he smiled at Roxy and nodded. “ Awesome, can you take this too?” she asked, reaching her hand into her back pocket and taking out the money before she gave it to Tommy. “ Absolutely, Miss D’Amato” he said and Roxy gave a small smile before moving past him and making her way inside. “ Oh, Happy Thanksgiving!” she called out to him before pressing the button for the elevator. “ So what’s this movie about anyways? I mean if you look at the grand scheme of your characters up to date so far they all seem to suffer from narcissism with erratic dysfunctional behavior stemming from the napoleon complex in order to establish their masculinity that they feel they’ve lost due to a handful of life circumstances that they find might have been emasculating,” she said, watching as the elevator doors opened. “ Though, I’ve only seen like three or four,” she added lazily before stepping onto the elevator. Roxy bit the edge of her lip, looking over at him before she gave the first real smile over to him, though it was small, at least it was there. But thankfully the awkward ride didn’t last long because the doors opened and she was able to get out quickly, drawing her key from her bag before she headed inside, dropping the messenger bag down to the side as she leaned down and unzipped her boots so she could take them off. “ Please tell me that fancy Georgetown school of yours offered cooking classes,” she added sarcastically before she headed into the kitchen and took down two different aprons. She unfolded the long one to cover the entire body before placing it over his head. “ Wouldn’t want to ruin your precious set wardrobe,” she said with a lift of her eyebrow before she picked the waist apron up off the counter and tied it on. “ Okay,” Roxy said before sighing and taking everything out of the fridge and pantry to get the pie started. She looked down at the recipe, popping her thumbs as she read the instructions before she looked up. Oh right, food. He would probably want some of that while she was baking. He was taking his lunch after all. “ Here I made some pot roast yesterday.. I’ll heat some up for you,” she said before taking it from the fridge and heading over to the microwave. Once it was heated she set it out on a plate for him, setting it in front of him before offering him a fork.

Ryan Gosling? What did Ryan Gosling have to do with this? He shook his and just shrugged. Michael looked around as she asked him if it was always like this. "Yeah, I guess so. I've gotten to the point where I can just block them out. It's so weird to have people watching you all the time."He smiled to a few people the waved. His fans were the best though. Of course everyone thought their fans were the best. "They won't put you in there. I mean they probably will, but your face will be covered up by one of those white circles with the yellow question mark in it. You'll be known as the mystery woman." he smiled as he looked down to her and then laughed. Michael looked around as Roxy was talking to her doorman, this seemed like a nice place. He nodded his head to the guy and then followed behind Roxy. "Wow, impressive. Sorry to disappoint you, but its the same kind. This guy's a real ass. And not all of my movies are like that." he said stepping into the elevator. "There's the Hangover, Phil, he's great. And then Alias, I play the nice guy in there. You've got to watch more movies." he said with a smile as the elevator doors opened.
Michael stepped off the elevator, following Roxy to her door. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him. She was taking her shoes off so he took his off as well, maybe it was a rule or something. "Nice place you got here." Here next comment made him laugh. "Actually they didn't." he called as he got his second boot off. "But luckily for you that's something my nana taught me." he said as he walked into the living room. He made a face when she put and apron on him. "Really..?" Michael slipped the apron up over his head and took his jacket off, hanging it on the back of a chair. Replacing the apron over his head, he tied the back. "I bet this just looks great. I think I should go back to set like this." he joked. Leaning against the counter, Michael watched Roxy get everything she needed to make her pie. Michael smiled when she handed him the plate and fork, "Thank you." He put it down on the table and then sat down and began to eat. When he was about half way through with it, he looked at her, "This is really good. I think I found a new place to come eat." he smiled and then went back to eating. Michael pushed his chair in then rinsed the plate off and placed it in the sink. "Okay, what would you like me to do?" he asked as he washed his hands.

“ Phil is a narcissistic ass who encourages childish behavior out of his closest friends because of the suburbia lifestyle he feels trapped in by the wife and kid. Did you.. did you read the script when you spoke the lines?” she asked, but this time she found herself smiling at him as she questioned it. But she watched as he made himself comfortable, taking off his shoes. Neither of them could have possibly dreamed this scenario would happen when they woke up this morning. She had an A-list celebrity in her apartment, and he was in some stranger’s apartment about to eat her cooking. She smiled though, watching him as he took the plate and then let him eat while she started to work on the pie. She was already putting pumpkin on the stove with cinnamon, and the smell was starting to linger through the kitchen. But she didn’t expect him to get up and rinse off his dish. “ Oh, no. You’re a guest, you don’t have to do that,” she said as she put the stove on low and moved away from it to go over to the sink and took care of the plate for him. She offered him a towel so that he could dry off his hands before she rested her hand against the counter and turned her body towards his to face him.
“ I’ll have you work on the crust in a second,” she said, looking back up at him. But why would he have come here? She stood there for a moment quietly, trying to decide how to best ask that question without it coming off harsh. She’d already been pretty harsh with him. And she wasn’t about to kiss his hass like every other girl out there. She could be honest without being so abrasive. He was trying to be nice here, smiling, being polite even after she yelled at him. “ So .. do you come up to peoples apartment’s often?” she asked quizzically before she looked up at him and stared into his eyes. “ Or is it just because you felt obligated to prove that you aren’t what I called you,” she said with a bit softer tone. Roxy moved her eyes from his, looking at the features of his face and his body before bringing them back to his eyes. She opened her mouth slightly before lifting the left side of her lips into a smile. “ You have really beautiful eyes. Though I’m sure you hear that all the time,” she said, reminding herself that to flirt with him would be stupid. He probably made other girls feel stupid in his presence. And though she thought he was just as handsome as the next girl, she still felt like she could just talk to him and be herself. “ But you don’t have to wink to get girls to notice your eyes. Or your smile. Is that what the girls that chase after you say?” she asked before smirking. “ Michael Hall.. Sexiest Man Alive. Could have any girl in the entire world that he wanted… Subnote.. took cooking lessons from his nana,” she said before pretending to hold up an imaginary camera and take his picture in the apron. “ That’s more impressive to me than what I’ve seen in tabloids,”
